October 16, 2024 5.0 I really appreciate how integrates everyday tools like Canva, making content creation and marketing intuitive and efficient. Being able to import designs directly from Canva without needing to download or upload files is a huge time saver. However, I do find the layout interface a bit buggy and limiting, especially when using Yodeck’s own design tools. Copying and pasting text can be unreliable, so I often rely on external apps like Canva or Adobe Suite to handle more intricate designs. User interface is friendly and anyone can pick it up fairly easily on their own. Pros I love how you can integrate everyday tools and apps into your playlists and layouts. It makes creating content and marketing a breeze because of how intuituve it is. Being able to implement my Canva designs right from the Canva website without downloading/uploading is such a time saver, and it imports it right into my media library. Cons The layout interface is a bit buggy on its own and a bit limiting when using the design tools from itself. Copying/pasting text is a bit buggy, therefore one would pretty much have to rey on apps such as Canva or anything from the Adibe suite to design anything intricate and complex. This has upped our communication with our membership. Pros is one of the best digital signage applications we have used for our branch of the Royal Canadian Legion. We are controlling 2 monitors in the building using the software to control the content very easily. The support has been top notch, if we have a rare problem. Cons The only thing we haven't liked about the software is that we don't have more monitors to use with it. Pros I tried so many different ways to get content on my screen at my studio but nothing was as easy as - I like how you can change content and update it directly from the dashboard. Cons The set up was a bit of a process- I am not very techy but once I understood how to get the WIFI set up, it was pretty easy. The apps are very useful and come from many different companies like Facebook, Instagram, and other companies who do news, weather, social media, etc. Also I love how it connects with Canva and this makes it so easy to share things between Canva and . There are many other templates that you can use to make it do different things but they are not applicable in what I am using it for. Pros has incredible software and easy to use. The software has so many awesome features Cons To get all the features, you can buy a player for $79 or get it for free with a year pro subscription. Other than that, I love Yodeck. Easy to setup, easy to import media and quality is impressive. Really like the admin UI. Pros Within 10 mins of creating my account I was able to create what I needed and had it up and running - I never expected it to be this easy and the support has been great. I was able to easily mix static images with video and it works very well with the Amazon Fire Stick Cons I haven't yet found a downside.
