Really nice api allow Me to control screen via hubitat. Pros It stream by BCS nvr camera great and stable in hd via rstp stream. No hangouts. Other platforms was not able to do this. They will even help with custom scripting needed for displaying certain content. Pros Yodeck includes their own custom players at no additional cost. As far as I know, none of the competition offers this. The custom players make the software much more seamless. Cons The Yodeck web portal for controlling screens does take some getting used to as there is a lot of different menus/settings. Pros The yodeck software is very easy to use. The free player that i recieved was well made. It made communicating to my employees very easy. I have not seen any issues so far. Pros We were currently using Google Chrome Sign Builder as our signage option for tvs throughout the building, but since Sign Builder is going to no longer be supported, it forced us to explore other options. We are glad it did. We are still able to incorporate a published Google Slide show, managed by students, but also other things such as video, websites, and other apps. There is a wide variety of options, and customizability. We couldn’t be happier with the ease of setup and maintenance. Cons We wish the plans were more affordable for school districts. Most companies will give district’s a discount based on size or student population, or some educational rate. With our district cutting costs, it seems unlikely that we can purchase the number of units that we would need, because it forces us to purchase an annual subscription, which is way out of our current budget. Cons One aspect we liked least about Yodeck was the inability to adjust the default time for uploaded content. Currently, the default duration is set to 5 seconds, which was too short for our business needs.
