Cons Managing screens was a little tricky at first - I wasn't sure if I should do a Raspberry Pi or use other tech. We started with a project plan and evaluation through a consultancy team given to us pro-bono from an international IT consultancy agency. Pros This is a very cost-effective and simple solution to digital signage. We are looking forward to rolling it out, but preliminary work has impressed us with its capability and will give us a simple setup process. Especially impressive is the way it works with a MiFi SIM adaptor over USB. Cons Setting up the WiFi is complex - but that is an inevitable consequence of the bootstrap type process needed. A few Glitches due todo the strange Screen dimension but might hauke just been Users learning as we went. Pros The options to split screens up and the different scheduling options. Content is relatively easy to work out how to customise. Very short turn around for updated content to update. It appears that the biggest focus is on apps, which is great - but it would be good to see a little more refinement in the layout designer. We use raspberry PIs provided by Yodeck and they are pre-configured with WiFi etc - so it's all plug and play Cons The editor can be fiddly, due to not being able to zoom in, and it doesn't remember certain settings. Layering with apps can be buggy too, but we rarely see this. Cons Content management early on was a bit cumbersome.
