### "Yodeck is Perfect for My Needs"

I found this app when another similar product decided to charge. I work for a small church with practically no budget so is perfect for my needs. I can show upcoming events and other info to people coming into the lobby of the church. It's always available and colorful - eye-catching.

Pros

It's very easy to use on my computer at home or at work. I only use one screen so the price is right, too - free! It runs on a tv and a FireStick. No expensive hardware to buy.

Cons

I can't really think of anything I dislike.

Simple and to the point, easy to navigate and publish

Cons

New app release rate needs to improve. A lot of apps are about news which is good and gives you diversity about news source in such a conflicted world but in addition to that there might be room to have the ability to post more dynamic content without having to resort to facebook or sites like postermywall

Pros

Simple and easy to use and adapt. There is a free version to use with one screen with almost all feature available.

Cons

Sometimes the web interface needs manual refreshing as some changes, labels etc. stuck on screen.

Pros

We used to manage our campus information screens with a laptop and powerpoint. We were wasting time running from one laptop to another on campus for minor updates. With , we do it from our desk and done. Give access to employees based on which building they work from or are responsible.

Cons

Lots of options means a bit more complicated to operate. But once setup, you can streamline usage by giving access to playlists only and it reduces the complexity for your day to day users.

It has all the features i need for a low price.

My screens sometimes don't load, however it isn't a big deal because if you reload the browser it comes right back up

Awful. They did not provide any customer service and our player never arrived.

Pros

I don’t know. We ordered one weeks ago and never received our player after paying in full. I would not go near this company with ten foot pole.

Cons

They took our money and never provided a player. Stay away. Run far and fast.

Found it ease to use and understand and eas to install new screens to the service. It would be nice if the API was better documented with examples to perform basic functions.

Pros

It is very easy to create layouts to display. I like that they provide an API so that a remote system may automatically perform functions that you might otherwise have to do manually using the GUI.

Cons

I dont like the ticker system to deal with support. It is difficult to open multiple tickets on different subjects at one time. I neve know when a question becomes part of an open ticket versus a new ticket or how to mark a ticket as resolved.

saving me a lot of time. i consider myself techsavy but easy to use for my staff was a big plus for me.

Pros

easy to update the data. speed to show the update is decent. easy to change the layout.

Cons

i think some of the devices should not be listed as supported. some were very buggy as well as slow. i wasted too much time.

There is not a mobile way to update your digital signage without a browser. I wish there was a mobile app.

fantastic for our church as it was free for us to get started with digital signage using a Raspberry Pie. We were so happy once the TV lit up showing information about our church for the rest of the city knowing that not much money has been spent. I truly recommend this service over other similar services if you are planning to do a similar solution as how we have done.

Pros

The free plan for having only one screen as it let us get started easily without no upfront costs. This may motivate us to keep use the service if we choose to scale with more screens.

Cons

It did take some time to familiarize myself with the program but the actual installation process was super smooth. I thus believe that it will be a small learning curve for other volunteers to start upload and manage content.

Very positive, I have really enjoyed using this in our waiting room.

Pros

Ease of use and the preloaded customizable templates.

Cons

Music integration is lacking. It would be nice to be able to connect it to a spotify or pandora account for continuous music play in the background.

There are SO MANY options for players and programs and it was hard to just choose at first. I'm glad I chose

Pros

It truly is very easy to learn. I've worked with a few different programs and players and was the easiest to learn.

Cons

There are a limited number of templates in the layouts section, which isn't a huge drawback, but it is what I like least about .

It has LOTS of options to add everything from videos to slideshows, from custom fonts to customized on/off times with CEC support!

Cons

Support is a bit slow to respond through Reddit's chat, but that's probably because it's through Reddit. They also don't officially support my hardware, but they do try to help as best as they can with it!
