It’s affordable and packs a lot of features that help keep everything running smoothly. There’s room for improvement in support, and occasional delays in syncing content can be annoying, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me. It’s been a positive experience so far, and I’d recommend it to others who need a reliable signage solution without breaking the bank. Pros I really appreciate how simple Yodeck is to get up and running. The interface feels intuitive, and it’s great that I can manage all my digital screens remotely from just a web browser. The fact that they include hardware with annual plans at no extra cost makes it even better value. It’s also nice to see that they offer a free tier, which is perfect for getting started without much risk. Cons While the platform itself is strong, the support could be better. The workflow from Canva is smooth and allows our content creators to easily push media to the Yodeck library. Cons No issues so far. It would be nice to have direct integration with the Canva asset library in the layout editor but that is likely not possible. Especially love start/stop days/times so we don't have to manually add/remove content at certain times. Cons Setup of the stand-alone player can feel a little technical (and having to use a wired USB keyboard for the WiFi setup was a bit inconvenient). I like how it also allows for a variety of playlists and can be managed virtually by our team. Cons The screen sometimes goes offline and can't be controlled from the Yodeck platform. The software runs well and allows you to publish in a fairly attractive way all the information that needs to be conveyed to workers. It can be run on various platforms but the best is to use it with the player already configured to be purchased separately. Pros It is an easy to use product. The free use option for a single display is excellent, allowing you to try out the product in its functions to see if it is suitable for use. The software is free to use for one screen which is very helpful when deciding on which product to use, the free trial ultimately led us to using Yodeck across our enterprise. Pros Yodeck was straight forward to install and use. I was able to write yodeck to a Rasp Pi to create my player, connect with yodeck with no issues. It worked as it should. As an comparison I have used Anthias as well which has issues. yodeck I was up and running opensource with free license in less than 30 mins start to finish. Cons Complementary license goes away when you purchase a second screen. So if you want 1 screen its free, if you want 2 screens you pay for 2.
