The platform is incredibly intuitive and easy to use, allowing me to create and manage my digital signage content with ease. The ability to schedule content and set up playlists has been a game-changer for me, and I love the fact that I can remotely manage my displays from anywhere. The customer support team has been extremely helpful and responsive in addressing any questions or concerns I've had. Overall, I highly recommend Yodeck to anyone looking for a robust and user-friendly digital signage solution. Cons There was no way to implement your own custom "app" to the deck. Pros Yodeck is the only digital signage platform I have tried that is intuitively designed and has a user friendly interface. I tried 4-5 other platforms before deciding on Yodeck. Pros If i had to pick one I would say the customer service is number 1. Technical bits aside support is easy and eager to help. Second I would say enterprise security methods of hardening the playing device. 3rd is the extendibility to other platforms and methods of display like web, or customer integrations like linked in or Sharepoint. Cons WSIWYG our current deployment mechanism is guessing and check. Sometimes the output does not fit the monitors. Several variables here that are not product related...screen size whether the screen is cropping or filling or running an Uknown aspect ratio. Despite the givens it is still hard to tell how things will EXACTLY come out from a design to tv perspective if you have a grab bag of TV types and sizes. Cons I feel the price is just really high for the feature set that is present. Especially when adding a lot of screens, the monthly cost skyrockets. We regularly update the screen with new info, as well as using some of the widgets to import live data. Pros I love how easy it is to set up, how innovative the online portal is, and how quick and simple it is to create a professional looking display. We had an issue with one of our players that customer service sorted in no time. The price is great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a digital signage solution. Cons The only fault I could think of was the limited amount of fonts that it supports. We overcame this by importing JPEGs. Price was fine for our organization. There are probably other services that would do the trick but we're happy with Yodeck and feel there's even more value in it that we haven't unlocked yet. I would expect that other organizations with more complicated e-signage needs would probably get what the need from Yodeck. Pros It does exactly what we were hoping it would do. Pros I have a blog for the Blair House a seniors residence in Ottawa Ontario Canada and this Yodeck software has given me the ability to display in real time The bus schedule for our bus stops ( 4 in total ), plus the weather, Emergency warnings system, Our Community Events Calendar, Covid 19 status all edited from my home pc or cell phone. In Canada we are a bilingual country English and French so all the webpages have to be repeated in both languages. easy as can be. The building is an Ottawa Community Housing building with an energy engagement program that consists of a monitor in the lobby that informs tenants of how much energy is being used ( electricity and gas) and compares it with other similar buildings . Now the information is of some value to the tenants as they do not have to wait outside in the rain or cold to catch a bus. I was somewhat concerned about the new Raspberry Pi 4 that replaced the Pi 3 as to how much work it would be to upgrade it involved 8 letters and a hyphen WOW works fine! This is by far one of the best Raspberry projects that I have come across thumbs up. Cons In the Ottawa Community Housing building we have a large percentage of people that do not speak either of Our official languages and it would be nice to incorporate Google Translate into this platform. I would like to see a camera on the raspberry Pi that could scan a QR code that when displayed would translate to the appropriate language. I love how we're able to update the signage anywhere, even remote. The interface is super user friendly and has plenty of features that we don't need...which is great for future expansion. Cons Not much to hate on for Yodeck. The only thing I wish was just a little better was the grid on the layout builder - the points that my content snap seem a little to far apart so it minimizes the customization. Never problems, never down time (so far, of course), and never a challenge to run. Pros I only (currently) need one screen which is completely free, with no features restricted! we use the Raspberry Pi 3B to run ours, which was incredibly simple to set up. I'm just amaze that great products like this still exist. If i ever need more screens, i'll gladly pay the subscription fee for the extras. The system is web based, and super simple. Pros The focus of this product is on ease of use, yet it allows very complex layouts and schedules if you are willing to spend some time.
