I like the intergration apps like Microsoft Sharepoint intergration. With new features and apps being added often, we continue to elevate our experince with the new features and options that are added. Pros I like 's easy to get started at no cost, followed by their very affordable pricing platform. They have great support and the service and products performs as advertised. I'm very happy with the products and services. Cons What I like least about is the interactive is not as easy to setup for us, and they recommend using a 17" screen for interactive setup. I would like to see larger interactive screen support, and a device that I can purchase from Yodeck with touch screen intergration that would allow me to connect in my 27" touch screen monitor to my Yodeck device. Reason for choosing Yodeck was chosen because of features, pricing, ratings, and they list their price and have a no-nonsense approach to what they offer, also making it very easy to signup and test out the products, and no high pressure sales calls. I experimented with different solutions before landing on Yodeck and so far it's been the best fit for my use case scenario. Pros The software runs on inexpensive hardware, is easy to deploy and very customizable to different scenarios. I was able to replace a previous one I painstakingly made through ubuntu and 4 programming languages to show all of my data on a webpage that refresh's. I was able to re-do the entire thing in a drag/drop GUI, and even load my local resources via internal network IP's. Best part is the scripting which you can use to remove parts of webpages, click buttons, ect that you don't want on the display. Makes for a super clean display Pros Easy to setup a layout, interfaces are laid out well and easy to navigate, connecting a player is almost brainless, no need to have keyboard/mouse connected to refresh anything Cons Scripting documentation isnt all there. If you understand programming you can get by with some trial and error. Had some hit/miss support experiences. Covering the digital signage exactly as we wanted it to with ease of use and management, and at a fair price. Pros Great user-interface - easy to learn, use, and manage multiple forms of media and create playlists, and updates quickly across multiple players. Cons Was a bit tricky to configure upon installation - took a little longer than expected to get the players up and running on multiple TVs. But worth the wait as it works great. I was a skeptic in the beginning but quickly became a supporter. I most appreciate the changing of a messages and the interaction on every playlist and board where the message is displayed. Based on Raspberry Pi, cheap hardware that you can manage as you want, Yodeck gives you full remote configuration of you system: you can upload any media (audio/video/image) or you can also link directly youtube videos or webpages! What I most liked is the possibility to create diffent playlist, mixing layouts with different kind of media, and scheduling the playlist whenever I want, switching automatically playlist in various time of the day. The update from the portal is very simple and the monitor will syncronize with the contents scheduled in very short time. Very nice also the alerts that notice you that you monitor is offline, so you can check the status with very short downtime. The installation is very easy: yodeck gives you the os image for the raspberry: the only thing you have to do is install the image and follow the instructions. So, I am very satisfied with this solution (we have been using it for more than 3 years and we never had problems) and I advice it for who need a simple but powerfull system for digital signage. Cons Maybe is not very intuitive the part about making a layout on the screen and then checking how it comes on the monitor, but with but with a few attempts everybody will manage to configure all Review Source BC Ben C. Well worth the small cost. Pros When purchasing the 1 year license we got the players included and opted for the small uplift for the better RPi's. They came with our Wi-Fi details pre-set so we just got them out the box, asset stickered them and put them to work. Managing the players is easy and marketing find the content management much more efficient than our old solution. Cons We had to pay import duty on the players as they are not dispatched from within the UK. This was an unexpected cost. It allows you to set schedules for different content, as well as creating live layouts that display current/upcoming weather and news, for example. Yodeck is a great tool for any organization to use for having digital signage/displays. Updating content is seamless and reaches the device within seconds. Cons Everything about is amazing. December 6, 2023 4.0 Overall i am really satisfied with and would recommend it for anyone whether you have no experience or you are and expert at digital signage anyone one can use Yodeck. Pros As a Company that uses digital signage several times a week for directions in the facility , I recently started using and have fallen in love with the product. Out of the digital signage options I have tried, Yodeck has been the easiest to implement into our work flow as a organization. When I did have a question I was able to get in contact with customer support and they were able to answer my questions within 24 hours of my email. We have a few devices that we are currently using Including a Fire TV, PCs, it allowed us to utilize devices that we previously used saving us time and money on implementing Yodesk. Cons has several great features that we utilized that we use on a weekly bases. the only thing lacking would be the lack of apps that can be implemented for the web browser and had to develop some of them externally to meet our needs. Not only were they extremely helpful and fast at solving my problems. They were even quick to kick issues up to the dev/engineering team and have features added or fixed software side within days. I have never had that kind of experience in my life with a software company. Pros The web designer is very clean and easy to work with. That being said the features of the designer are basically as advanced as you are willing to put the work in for. Cons Some documentation for specific hardware are unclear. For example I am using Tyzen based devices, I tried to deploy an RTSP stream as it is presented in the docs as a working feature. I then reached out to support only to find that this feature does not work on the Tyzen platform yet. Wish I got hit with a warning or something while deploying the layout.
