The screens are now true information points displaying a variety of media. Pros At our community centre we have been using a basic photo slideshow app to convert smart tvs into digital noticeboards. It worked but was very basic - limited to displaying jpgs that we needed to manually rotate to display on a portrait orientated screen.Yodeck has been a big step up as far as possibilities for our screens. We now have the option to display a whats on calendar, video, livestream, weather and more.I particularly like the clean, uncluttered and intuitive dashboard which manages the screens. Yodeck has excellent video and livestream support that was lacking from some of the other digital noticeboard apps we tested. Technical support has also been particularly good. Highly recommended. Cons Lack of a compatible Android app for smart TVs. Our corporate communications officers and other key stakeholders were looking for a way to communicate business news, achievements, updates etc with our sites via digital signage in common areas (receptions, offices, canteen/staff areas). Pros Yodeck was easy to evaluate due to the fully featured nature of the 1-screen trial. We were able to trial the product on a real screen, using real content to asses how we might use the product in our enterprise.The breadth of features in the product is impressive and helped drive stakeholder engagement during the proof-of-concept phase.Upgrading to an Enterprise suitable paid plan was both easy to understand and implement. Cons Hard to really single out anything we don't like about the product - perhaps a few more integrations/plugins would be useful? Many cloud integrations are possible, but definitely room to grow. This made my job of deployment in IT much easier. Cons We are using Yodeck in multiple school buildings and will be expanding it soon. I only rated this 3 stars because it would be nice to group the players by the building/category and only allow certain users access to certain buildings/categories. Pros There is no programming/coding knowledge necessary to use this software. Just use the available 'Apps' to easily create content such as weather reports, schedules from your Gmail account calendar or even newsfeeds from your favorite websites. I think it's a great service for Museums who don't have as large of a staff - one person can monitor and update all the screens, no matter their location. Pros I like the ease of use. The ability to make a change to a file, upload it, and instantly have it fix on the live screen, without ever having to turn the TVs off. Cons When making a playlist, you have to manually drag the slides around to change their order. Sometimes if you have a lot of slides, it makes it difficult to rearrange them. I wish the sorting function was a little more user friendly. Pros It is super simple to setup and deploy and it makes it much easier to update content than paper. Cons Some of the features are limited and I ran into some roadblocks with some of the things I wanted to do. Pros Ease of installation and remote management of content. Cons There are multiple ways to access scheduling content, I always seem to fumble around trying to get something scheduled in advance.
