How hard can it be to put up an error message if something doesn't work? I've been a software application developer almost all my life and would never ever write such a sloppy piece of software that said it worked when it didn't Pros I didn't use it enough to find anything that I liked. It failed miserably from the beginning for me Cons The error handling is terrible. I tried formatting a partition on my hard drive and it reported no errors and said that it completed it successfully. But that was a lie. The partition was still unformatted. I assumed I must have done something wrong so I try to again and ended up trying several times always with the same result. Pros Una delle sue peculiarità è la facilita di installazione e di utilizzo. L'interfaccia è pulita e semplice e le funzionalità disponibili sono visualizzate in maniera user-friendly. Con l'aiuto di questo software si può gestire i dischi e le partizioni ridimensionando, eliminando e rilocare lo spazio libero. Inoltre è possibile creare facilmente unità disco, unirle e anche spostare il sistema operativo da un SSD a un HDD e viceversa. Cons Una volta ho avuto un problema quando ho provato a convertire un disco da GPT a MBR e non erra apparso nessun errore, però a parte quello non ho trovato altre criticità. There are very useful wizards, which guide the user to achieve the results they want. Pros I purchased Aomei Partition Assistant to migrate my Operating System (Windows 11 Pro) from a hard disk drive to an SSD. The process was very easy, an absolute godsend because I'd had trouble trying to do this with other apps. Cons There's nothing I dislike about this software, because it does what I need it to do. It's become my go-to app for drive issues. It can even create bootable drives with Windows PE. Pros Partition Assistant clearly displays all of the information anyone would need to see about a hard drive, disk, SD card, or any other type of storage. It also has any feature or tool you could possibly need to use to work with them. Cons I'm not sure if it's capable of cloning disks, but if it is it's somewhat well hidden. I did have to download a different software in order to clone a disk. Otherwise, it's very user-friendly. I did all my partition work manually. Somewhere along the way I discovered Partition Magic and got lazy. Then Partition Magic disappeared and I had to find something else. Everything I looked at had some glaring deficiency or cost too much until I found Partition Assistant. It is simple and has no problems I have found. Several alternatives I looked at actually corrupted disks that I attempted to use them on. Cons I would prefer to have an option to implement it from a control line or at least see the command lines being implemented, but that's only because I'm old school and would like to learn something.
