Pros

  • Overall Ocualvis Share is a great tool for Service Providers and Maintenance People to help clients and connect workers in the field with Visual Support.

  • We love when our customers tell us that remote support was a wonderful experience for them.

Cons

  • Limitation to only 4 users on one call. Will be changed by end of 2021.

  • No HoloLens Version (atm). Some functions are still missing.

Pros: Easy to setup - Easy to use - Easy to troubleshoot

Cons: too many clicks when setting up a call in Share

"Reliability is key"

Overall: We realized a remote comissioning for a turbomachinery train based on Oculavis. This was done first time in the whole world of turbomachinery.

Pros: Along all relevant features what are included, the personal and binding comitment of all employees I was in contact with is key for a sustainable software and permanent development.

Cons: THe software has to be "opened" for more than 4 participants per call.

"Most mature Remote Support application at the moment"

Pros: The diversity of features with a knowledge database due to the case-ticketing approach. Good and fast support from oculavis

Cons: Limitation to only 4 users on one call. Will be changed by end of 2021 Generating a report with a huge file size due to high resolution images taken during session

"Remote Support Made Easy"

Overall: Working with Oculavis has allowed us to help our customers repair their machines and save field service missions. We love when our customers tell us that remote support was a wonderful experience for them.

Pros: Intuitive options for guiding the end user through a procedure. Great development team to work with. Customer service is very responsive. We are able to white label the application. They always have new use case ideas and are pushing themselves to deliver a future-proof product.

Cons: At first, we were unable to integrate it with our internal ticketing system.

Reasons for Choosing oculavis SHARE: Oculavis provided us the functionality we needed, such that the implementation was not too big of a shift from our previous provider. Furthermore, we felt confident that we could work closely with them to realize the roadmap they had shown us.
Reasons for Switching to oculavis SHARE: Our contract was running out, and we wanted to explore the market to see if we could find a software provider who could allow for more use cases.

"Must have for machinery and plant manufacturers"

Pros: All necessary features for remote service applications included!

Cons: The AR functionality can be improved - next version will bring massive improvements.
