Maintastic combines practical maintenance functionality with real innovation. The mobile app, the smart planning tools, and the close partnership with the Maintastic team make it a standout solution. The ongoing AI and IoT developments show that this is not just a maintenance system but a forward-looking platform that keeps improving through collaboration and research.

Pros

Maintastic is our major software to manage all our maintenance processes. The platform has proven is easy to use. My personal favorite features are the mobile app with its intuitive new homepage and the maintenance planner, which makes scheduling and tracking tasks very efficient. We also work closely with the Maintastic team as a development partner, especially on AI-driven features. Together, we’re advancing intelligent knowledge management through a chatbot system and IoT integration of our metrology devices, and the collaboration has been excellent.

Cons

None worth mentioning. The system is stable, user-friendly, and continuously evolving with meaningful updates.

A solid, reliable tool that fits well in an industrial environment (even on a construction site). Brought structure to the whole process.

Pros

I used Maintastic in my last job to monitor and manage our machines (and formwork) in a precast plant for concrete jacking pipes. The system made it easy for workers to report machine issues directly. The maintenance team used it to do recurring tasks.

Cons

Nothing really problematic or what I did not like. Once I was familiar with it, it worked well and was easy to train the others.

The platform has enhanced the quality of initial incident reporting for equipment failures, ensuring accurate and actionable insights. Through mobile, digital access the information is delivered directly to the point of need—right at the machine—accelerating troubleshooting and fostering seamless collaboration between experts and on-site operators within our global manufacturing network

Expose recurring support requests and convert them into structured workflows with detailed step-by-step guidance. Provide an intuitive, production-grade user interface for seamless software operation. The QR Code widget enables a lightweight and efficient entry point for ticket creation

Cons

It is not possible to change the asset type retrospectively. In general, bulk updates—such as during user transitions—is not possible. It would be beneficial to have a selection mechanism that allows choosing specific assets to apply changes to

Our overall experience with Maintastic has been very positive. The software has helped us structure and improve our production and maintenance processes while enabling seamless collaboration across locations. I look forward to the AI features, Maintastic has presented as demo versions on last year’s AllAboutX conference.

Pros

Maintastic is an excellent solution to support our steering component production processes. The ticketing system helps to document findings at workstations and turn them into tasks for production and maintenance optimization. During Covid, the remote support feature was particularly valuable, allowing us to inspect installation and ramp-up of workstations in China without having to travel. The introduction of push notifications about 2 years ago has made mobile use very convenient — the staff can handle tickets and updates directly from their phones, which greatly improves responsiveness and workflow efficiency.

Cons

We didn’t encounter any major downsides. A challenge was that the mobile app had to be installed on company phones, which required coordination with our IT department. Once set up, however, it worked as expected.

Maintastic has proven to be a dependable and flexible solution that supports both our internal teams and our customers. The long-term collaboration and continuous evolution of the platform make it a strong foundation for our service processes and Remote operations.

Pros

We’ve been using Maintastic as a white-label application in our service for six years, both as as a maintenance tool and a visual remote support solution integrated into our own ticketing system. Our helpdesk uses the system to help our customers repair their machines and save field service missions. In our Remote Operations team, it enables seamless collaboration with customers: tickets are handled together, issues are discussed in chat, and daily maintenance tasks are tracked clearly and consistently. The partnership with the Maintastic team has been excellent, with steady improvements and new features added over the years.

Cons

At first, we were unable to integrate it with our internal ticketing system. Now, the integration is running stable since 3 years.

Maintastic proved to be a highly capable and well-rounded maintenance system. It offers all the tools needed for professional asset and maintenance management, with a clean interface and strong performance. I’d definitely recommend it to any company looking for a robust and modern CMMS solution.

Pros

I used Maintastic extensively at my previous employer, where we relied on the full range of its features — maintenance planning, ticketing, and asset management. The system handled everything seamlessly, from daily reactive tasks to long-term maintenance scheduling. It’s intuitive, reliable, and powerful enough to manage complex operations without feeling cumbersome. Overall, it provided a very structured and efficient way to organize maintenance activities across the site.

Cons

There weren’t any real downsides during my time using it. The only suggestion I’d make is related to software updates: Switching to a continuous delivery model with smaller, more frequent updates could make the rollout process even faster.

I’m very satisfied with Maintastic. The software has made our maintenance processes much more efficient. It provides a clear structure for asset management. The close communication with the co-founders and their team show that the platform is continuously evolving and values our feedback.

Pros

The software is very clear and intuitive. It can be used effectively without long onboarding and saves our team time in daily maintenance management. I’m impressed by the fast and knowledgeable team, which really listens to our needs.

Cons

Creating custom reports could be made easier. Some settings like the CSV export are slightly hidden.

Overall, we are extremely satisfied with Maintastic. It provides a simple yet powerful way to manage all maintenance activities, even for a small team like ours. The combination of ease of use, excellent customer support, and ongoing improvements makes Maintastic a perfect fit for our farm’s daily operations.

Pros

The software has been a great help in keeping track of our machines and maintenance tasks on our agricultural farm. We are only five people on the team, but it’s important to have a clear overview of all equipment and scheduled work orders — and Maintastic delivers that to us. Setting up the system was straightforward, even without external support, and it’s been running smoothly.

Cons

The only current limitation for us is the lack of offline functionality, which would be particularly useful in areas with limited internet access. However, Maintastic has already confirmed that this feature is under development and will be released soon..

Pros

We’re working with Maintastic as part of the GRACE research project with Aachen University, focusing on secure deployment and software development processes. The collaboration is excellent and the Maintastic CMMS provides a strong technical foundation and is continuously tested and refined. The team’s commitment to security and transparency is outstanding. In our case, the system serves as a development environment.

Cons

None so far. The cooperation has been smooth and highly professional. Since the software is built on a professional basis, we have a great environment for R&D.

Maintastic has proven to be a reliable and efficient solution for managing maintenance workflows. The combination of a robust ticketing system and smooth remote support capabilities has streamlined our processes and improved communication across teams. Overall, the software delivers a solid performance and adds clear operational value.

Pros

The ticketing system in Maintastic is very well structured and allows for clear tracking of maintenance requests and responsibilities. The integrated remote support functions make collaboration with service providers much easier and reduce downtime significantly. Both features have become essential tools in our daily maintenance operations.

Cons

Setup of Active Directory is very helpful, because it helps to structure teams, users and their roles. We needed some support from the Maintastic helpdesk to set it up.
