Pros Formswift is easy to use, but that's not enough to justify the its missteps. Cons Form swift utilizes an unethical subscription model, forcing you to pay for a year in advance and, if you cancel the renewal early, you lose access to all of your files. This forces users to wait until just before the renewal date to cancel, with the hope that you will simply forget. Customer service is also incredibly slow to respond and unhelpful. I found someone to talk with and they were not useful, or helpful, at all. Again, I feel I am being strung out for seven days and then my account will magically appear and a $37 payment will be billed to my account that Form Swift could not find for the previous seven days. I am embarrassed for Form Swift, but they are who they are. Pros Not much to like. Simple software designed to hook customers and get them paying monthly payments because they cannot cancel. Cons I am told I can try it and cancel any time. This is not true. I tried to cancel, and Form Swift said I do not have an account, but I am sure it is a ploy to get me to wait through the seven day period, then bill me an additional $37. And canceling my card put me on a trip with no access to my bank account. It felt like robbery. Pros It was easy to print a time-sensitive eviction notice. Cons I paid a small fee for the free trial as it was a one-time use. I canceled it afterward but I was charged anyway. Unable to reach someone and a runaround via email caused me to have to cancel my card. While waiting to get this straightened out I thought I’d use it for another project since I had paid for two additional months at this point. Pros The actual form, an affidavit, was easy to use. Cons Cancelled the service on time during the short trial period, got billed the monthly $37 anyway. Emailed customer service, they said this. “According to your request, you would like to get a refund. Their customer service dept assures you the subscription has been cancelled, but it has not They give you the most bogus responses an a runaround for a week before they finally agree to issue a refund. I suspect it is a RICO operation. Pros It was easy to fill out and submit the form. Cons To use the service, you need to subscribe. It costs $1.95 for a seven-day trial subscription which auto converts to a $37/month service fee. When you try to cancel the subscription within the trial period, you get assurances that the subscription has been cancelled, but seven days later your credit card gets charged.
