I am an admin /postmaster for around 20 domains. MXGuardDog is being rolled out across them after we tested for over a year with a couple of difficult recipients (who were getting thousands of crappy emails per month) They are not technically literate yet the MXGuard Dog process worked for them. Pros It just works - end of story. It has a simple setup, it has been utterly reliable nad it does an excellent job of weeding out crud - while allowing you to whitelist wanted addresses and domains. It also has country filtering - which removed a ton of crud immediately. I have used this product for over 10 years and am implementing it across the domains I host mail for. I also love the fact that if my server was to go down, they will catch and store mail long enough for me to get the issues resovled - so no missed mail. Cons I am always more comfortable if I can pick up a phone and call someone - but this is a low risk factor - as if MXGuardog were to ever fail, I would just switch my mx records and everything would work again (with more spam). The product is solid, even at a lower subscription. Users find the interface intuitive and it's cut down on managment time for our internal tech team. Support is always helpful and we're very happy to be using MXGuardian for our email protection service. Pros We were in a meltdown regarding our Spam and mail security due to a targeted attack from the outside. Our previous system was barely protecting us at all. MXGuardian techs helped us get set up and configured to minimize the DOS attack and give us back control of our systems. They have been responsive to all of our questions and are making sure we are getting the most out of our subscription! Cons Sometimes it's difficult to understand the organization of the countries when looking to block or allow specific traffic, but I blame my geography grades for that. The language blocker is a nice bonus! I searched for weeks before I found this and have been nothing less than happy with the decision. My customers are protected and have the same features as the higher priced alternative I was using. Pros Inexpensive so I could replace a previous product that constantly raised their prices each year. Selecting the features I needed were available so I didn't have to pay for features I would not be using. Easy to understand from both the end user and the administrator points of view. Equally effective and adjustable like the previous high priced product I was using. Cons Some of the administration fields could use better or more explanation. Everything is clear and if you do need to contact support, they respond quickly and are always pleasant and helpful. Pros I love the simplicity of MX Guardian and it works. I can log in and at a glance see any emails held in quarantine. Easy to add whole domains, including sub domain to blacklist. You just set it up, and it just works. i don't think any product out there could filter all SPAM, but MXGuardian does a pretty great job. Pros So easy to setup, so easy to use, from an admin point of view and user point of view, i cannot recommend it enough. the billing is super simple. the support is excellent. Cons nothing at all, it ticks all my requirements. Switched from [Trellix Endpoint Security](https://www.capterra.com/p/151734/McAfee-Endpoint-Security/) i found that the in-house mcafee solution was just getting too difficult to mange and maintain for exchange 2010 at the time, and when we swapped to Microsoft 365, it was as simple as just changing the IP address. As a long-time user, I have found the technical team at MXGuardian very helpful and like the fact that they're always improving and developing their software. Pros The ability to place spammers in my block sender list as quickly as possible. As a business owner, this saves me time. Cons The fact that I had to request a change to the software - adding "Mark As Spam" to the "Quarantine" list, which has now been added. I have posted on social media that I recommend this software highly to anybody with business emails. Pros I couldn't be happier with MXGuardian. They block virtually all spam and I find very few emails that should have gotten through to me. In a world with questionable tech support and customer service, MX is five-stars, not that I need support all that often because they're extremely reliable. Cons I really have no significant criticisms. I suppose that 100% would be better than 98% or 99% but that's almost impossible to attain.
