Pros

Cons

Pros

It is a timeclock, and now it's forcing me to use 40 characters in a box I didn't want to type in.

Cons

Can't assign our desired numbers to employees. This sucks. No way to see "hours worked" on the clock in screen. This particularly sucks.

Pricing is good and accurately catches if someboyd messes up their time in and time out.

Cons

Sometimes it is annoying because it won't allow you to go to another feature without getting out of the loop in the admin section

A little pricey considering it's just an update of the pre-Y2K version. But obviously not so expensive I didn't buy the updated version.

Pretty easy deployment. requires only a network cable and the power supply. Base software can handle 50 employees. Has nfc function for punching in. Simple to access on network.

Cons

If accidentally unplugged takes quite a while to reboot.

Pros

It is very easy to use and operate. I like the bold and grayed out feature to indicate clocking in or out. I also like that errors appear in red.

Cons

Where to find what tab to use for a procedure I am wanting to complete. I have trouble with entering time numbers when I am editing the time.

TimeClick is easy to use on the client side and has been a very stable product, from an IT perspective. The user interface is not complicated, or cluttered. Our billing manager is able to consistently access reports and manage users with ease. Support has always been very helpful ( the handful of times I've ever had to call ) and have quickly addressed any items that have come up with the program, which has typically been during upgrading the product to input a new license key. Great product.

Our small law firm has utilized TimeClick for all of our timekeeping needs for approximately two and one half years now and it has been exactly what we were looking for. TimeClick is perfect for any small business looking for a more efficient and better timekeeping method that is not going to break the bank and does not require an advanced degree. TimeClick was easy to install and incredibly easy to use. We just downloaded the main program on our server and then put the local installation on the individual employee's computers. At the end of the pay period, we simply print out the payroll report and send it to our payroll company. It is just that easy. It also aides us in tracking paid time off as it has a function for that as well. Thus, we can properly identify what were hours actually worked and what was vacation or sick time so that we do not needlessly pay overtime when the same is not warranted. I am fairly certain the program has paid for itself in this respect. TimeClick also has terrific technical support where you talk to a real person who is responsive to the caller's skillset and who is willing to listen to what you have already attempted before forcing you to repeat steps that have already failed before the call, saving time and energy. I wholeheartedly have and will continue to recommend TimeClick to my clients, colleagues, friends and neighbors. In fact, labor law is one of my specialties and I always recommend TimeClick to my labor law clients who have do not have a good recordkeeping system in place as it is a painless way to aid in complying with the law. You will not be disappointed.

The software on the pilot computer will freeze up and have to be restarted, this can be quite annoying.

Overall the system solves my needs.

I like the it is mostly easy to use for most employees

Cons

The updates done in the newer version for reporting. It was buggy for awhile and then when upgraded it appeared to solve it. I have 2 stores. one has the newer version and one has the older version. The older version shows previous hours worked. The newer version only shows the previous weeks worked hours only if overtime is present.

Reason for choosing TimeClick

It appeared to meet my needs which are simple for a reasonable price. Price was a lot of it. As many systems cost more and tried to offer more. But for someone like me that does not have crazy needs, this was a good fit.

The software is very user friendly for time keeping. Allows you to enter information on event worked and notes to admin if necessary

Cons

That it doesn't tie into our Quick Books. I wish there were some way to send the time directly to our book keeper for check writing purposes, instead of having to create a spreadsheet with time and sending it over.
