I believe it has been excellent, tracks everything necessary to store and retrieve data, the card swipe system is great, eliminates any guesswork

Pros

Its basically a one stop shop, daily attendance, work hours times in & out sick days, time off, able to leave notes/messages in individual accounts, has capability to generate reports

Cons

sometimes it seems takes longer than expected to receive a response to a question, but generally acceptable

We are in about 17 states. We have been thru a couple of payroll companies that could not offer great support. Centrally HR has a robust reporting program. Love the fact we can pull excel reports so easily. If we need a specific custom report, our team rep creates it for us in a timely fashion.

Pros

Team representative is one of the best I have worked with in 44 years. He responds quickly and is very knowledgeable. Our CFO agrees \[sensitive content hidden\] was extremely helpful when we had an issue. He was confident and responded quickly.

Cons

Tax team does not respond very quickly when we have had an issue. You cannot talk with them directly.

Overall, as a new client we are highly satisfied with the service provided. We transitioned our 401k Plan (Empower) and our Payroll and they work very well together.

Pros

They onboard and train the employer well. They respond quickly to payroll and HR questions. Software offers all the payroll bells & whistles. We've had great customer service from them. Employee portal gets good reviews from our employees.

Cons

The Registration / Verification process for employees getting on the portals was a little clunky for us.

Despite the learning curve with the platform, CBIZ has been reliable and responsive partner. The core services are solid, and I'm hoping in time the site will be a little more user friendly, and we will be able to take advantage of the services available.

Pros

The onboarding process was impressively smooth. The transition from our previous system to CBIZ was executed with step-by-step system configuration. The data transfer was conducted efficiently and with clear communication from staff.

Cons

A key of opportunity lies in the usability of the website and training experience. While there are helpful resources available through the online portal, navigating them can be overwhelming, particularly for new users.

Their consistency and attentiveness made the transition feel natural and well-supported.

I'm very happy with the Centrally HR. The reps were very friendly and patient; no question went unanswered.

Pros

Centrally, HR has many options, from simple payroll processing to a complete HR Package. You have a dedicated team that is always there when you have a question. The application is easy to use once you go through the training, and it actually makes sense. They are definitely worth the value.

Cons

I didn't find anything I didn't like. All questions and concerns were addressed, and when changes were needed to fit our company, Centrally HR had no problem.

We truly feel that our integration team supported us every step of the way — we were in great hands from start to finish. They took the time to really listen to all of our needs, even the most specific ones, and worked closely with us to make our lives easier. Pros

The team was incredibly responsive to all of our needs. We love how customizable the platform is, and anytime we had questions or issues, the team responded within 24 hours, putting our concerns at ease. The system is also very intuitive and easy to use, making it super user-friendly. It integrates seamlessly with our time and attendance platform, which made it easy for our managers to adapt to the new system. We’re also excited about the new intranet feature—something our organization didn’t have before. We can’t wait to continue building it out with the team. Overall, we’ve had an amazing experience. \[sensitive content hidden\] and the entire team made sure every need was met. They consistently reassured us that everything would be completed on time—and it was. We met all of our deadlines and are still learning more every day.

Cons

The only part that was a bit confusing was having to reach out to multiple departments during the integration process—it wasn’t always clear who to contact for what. That said, every team we interacted with was amazing and supportive once we got connected to the right people.

The customer service provided through the sales and transition processes was fantastic. The ongoing customer support we continue to receive at a number of clients is great. No complaints - would recommend CHR to all of my clients.

Pros

We're a consulting and financial services firm to a number of schools and non-profits. At the end of the day we care about four things: 1. Customer service 2. End user experience 3. Ability to create and manipulate reports 4. Price point In my experience working with a number of HRIS and payroll providers, Centrally HR is best in class.

Cons

Nothing - we've had nothing but positive working experiences in our partnerships. We normally dread the transition process - this was seamless with CHR

We transitioned from Paylocity (who we had been with for 2 years) to CHR almost a year ago. The transition was very smooth, and they took care of almost all the data extraction and reports they needed to get set up. Their entire implementation team was professional and wonderful to work with. Since then, their service team (and our service person in particular) is always there for us and we have zero complaints. (That doesn't mean we haven't run into some stumbles - but they've always addressed our concerns very quickly and to our satisfaction.)

Pros

HUGE flexibility with creating whatever report you want; and if you have any stumbles, their CBIZ team is very helpful, responsive and friendly.

Cons

That there's no "onboarding"/limbo/waiting room for newhires. Once you make the offer, they're in and "active" essentially, even though they have not completed their newhire paperwork or I9, etc. Then if they don't actually start, it makes for some confusion.

Mostly because of an API that Paylocity sold to us as part of their package - that we need for payroll (time punches), that never worked as it needed to, and their subsequent refusal to manage it. Added to that, there were many times when our service reps did not respond to issues for literally 2 weeks or longer - by the time they responded, we had either found a work-around and/or I didn't even remember what they were referring to - so much time had passed.

great experience, payroll is more efficient process than when we cut over. working on various upgrades and smooth process so far.

Pros

direct support, consistent account manager. good responsiveness and communication, would generally recommend.

Cons

software reporting is tricky at first, but you get used to it and now I love it. monthly fees seem higher than i'd expect, but they might be completely in line with industry, we haven't price shopped them in years.

Easy to use. And customer support helps. Employees can check their time and view time off. They schedule time off.

No signature on app. Not easy for the employees to download. Gps helps find out where our staff is located.

Pros

Ever since we switched to Centrally HR, our employees and management have commented on how easy the HR and Payroll platforms are to navigate and use. The customer support is excellent! They respond to questions quickly, with proven solutions for what is needed. They have great team collaboration, value for the money, and everything we need as a company is found on one organized Company Hub platform. It's fabulous!

Cons

Sometimes it is not easy to find certain needed reports, and having several different paths to find information can be overwhelming.

We love the monthly training sessions they have to keep us up to date with State and Federal reporting and current changes to the software.

Pros

The set up at conversion went so well with no problems. The consistent quick response with support makes our payroll days run smoother. Customer support provided the perfect spreadsheets to upload the payroll time and that was the best. We are continually wanting new reports and processes, and they are always willing to help. The Bi Weekly time entry is so easy to adapt to that was another plus.

Cons

We had some interface issues that were promised but they were not able to do but did help with a manual work around.

Pros

Centrally HR has a great support team. I have to say the account managers are a pleasure to work with and get back to me in a timely manner.

Cons

I honestly don't have much to say here. We are only human and everything comes with it's own hurdles but I don't have any bad enough experiences to say there is something negative.

Overall it is quite good. I calls from other payroll services but I tell them we are happy with CHR.

Pros

Excellent customer support. Both by email and by phone when it is an emergency. Always adding to the HR functions which is helpful.

Cons

I still have not mastered the art of creating reports but my HR colleague does it quite well. I ask support to create what I need frankly. The way the PTO appears on a pay stub can be confusing.

I think I learn something new just about every week. Why? That's because they are always updating and adapting to the ever-changing world of payroll and human resources! The video tutorials are really awesome!

Pros

We've been with Cbiz and then Centrally HR for about 20 years now. I've been asked to switch vendors many times, but we have stayed loyal because their customer service and ease of use make it a no-brainer.

Cons

Sometimes I'm a bit overwhelmed with exactly how much is on there. I probably only use 30% of the site because I'm just not familiar enough with all of the ins and outs of it.

Pros

The customer service is far superior to any platform we have used previously. Our questions are answered quickly and are actually solutions to problems.

Cons

Recruiting integration with Indeed. Indeed is terrible and there isn't a great solution in place when they deny a posting in CHR.

The customer support is excellent. The system is very friendly to navigate, and the app is interactive witch is of a lot of help to our employees. The payroll portion of the system is very straight forward and easy to navigate for the payroll administrators.

Although I have been with them for a short period of time, I can say my experience with them has been wonderful.

Pros

The system is extremely easy to use and everyone is extremely helpful. As soon as I enter a ticket for help, I get notification that the ticket was received and within a short period of time, I have my representative emailing me with resolutions to my problems or answers to my questions. The Tax Team is on point and so is the rest of the specialty teams.

Cons

I do not believe I have any Cons at this time. I cannot speak for my HR department for onboarding procedures, but I did ask my director last week and she said she would like to stay with them and not move to another program.

A+ experience! The system is very logical. The customer service is top-notch. I highly recommend CBIZ and Centrally HR!

Pros

Implementation was easy, benefit platform much better than previous HRIS, vacation time transition from year to year is 100% better than any previous HRIS I've used, intuitive platform with multiple ways to accomplish tasks, I can actually use the performance management within this system as opposed to previous HRIS's, easy to use and very responsive customer service!

Cons

It was difficult to come up with anything to say here. Something small is when I have an open position, and I have an internal candidate, I can't "hire" them into the roll to show that it is Closed and Filled. We can only close the req and transfer the candidate separately. So, for historical purposes, I can't easily see when reviewing reqs if it was closed because we hired internally or because we just closed the req for another reason. This is very minor, however. I've had a couple times where something was set up and then for some reason it "broke" and wasn't doing what it was before. These were easily and quickly corrected for me.

The experience was rough at first, I was constantly making mistakes as I didn't understand the tool. There were times that I would get frustrated with our representative because he wasn't giving me clear instructions on how to do things. But after time I have gotten used to the tool and I think me and our representative understand each other better, so it has been running pretty smooth.

Pros

We only use Centrally HR for payroll. Now that I have been using it for some time and have figured out the ins and outs, I enjoy using it. This is our first payroll tool, so I really have nothing to compare it to.

Cons

Until I got the hang of the tool, I didn't like it, I was constantly making mistakes. But after working with our representative, I have grown to understand it more.

This is by far the best payroll processing software I’ve used. The portal is user-friendly and easy to navigate. I truly appreciate the team’s quick and efficient communication—any issues or questions I have are resolved promptly.

Pros

The portal is incredibly easy to navigate. Payroll processing is simple and efficient, with clear instructions that save us time. Generating reports for our monthly reconciliations is also quick and hassle-free

Cons

The search function doesn’t always return the specific information I’m looking for. Adding user manuals or guides to the portal would be extremely helpful
