Microsoft is not responsible for data - its imperative that backups of Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams and Sharepoint are maintained within businesses. Pros VBO is a one license product to secure the entire Office Suite - including Teams, Onedrive, Sharepoint and Exchange Online. The licensing is simple and extremely good value for money - licensed per user per year, or of course, monthly subscription via a Service Provider. VBO is so easy to set up and use, its perfect for both home use and enterprise businesses. Cons Its very hard to find any cons with this software. If i had to look hard for an issue, I would say that the end user has littl control over their data unless permissions are very carefully set up. Storage space can become an issue. However the experience I do have with it has shown me just how granular it can be. I don't have to worry about restoring entire portions, I can go down to specific files Pros The ease of setup as well as the granularity of the back up structure. Cons Not much, the only thing I can think of, is that they had a bug that lasted a few days that stopped us from doing backups. IT Manager Building Materials Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Not cheap but worth it" May 10, 2024 5.0 Implemented it during the migration to O365 cause Microsoft stated that data backup is not included in their cloud solution (at that time). The installation and then the UI are straight forward. Issues my happens when Microsoft change something on their side but Veeam is really ready to propose solutions that usually are software updates (that are very trivial to install). I don't think I could want more by that software, it just does the job, it works very well, the reporting is ok and the support is stellar. Pros Easy to implement, mantain and manage. Pros Es fácil la configuración y al dejarlo configurado en un equipo para que solo este descargando la información lo hace de manera conveniente. Cons En algunas ocasiones no me descarga la información completa del OneDrive, ya que solo respalda las carpetas pero sin contenido, sin embargo sale que el proceso se completo correctamente, y para esto debo realizar el mismo ejercicio pero en otro equipo y si descarga correctamente. Backups are constant, it's automated, so it eliminates the need for manual backups, which we really appreciated. Another advantage is definitely the ease of use and especially restoring the backup whenever needed up to I think 1 month (31 user days). Setting up the backup itself is a very easy process and it's very intuitive. An app that performs its function excellently and does exactly what it is supposed to. Cons At the time of use there was no option to set geo-location, this meant we had to manually set backups to different geo-locations. Setting up MFA was somewhat difficult, but it was manageable.
