The platform itself still works fine, and their panel is still decent. But in the 4 years I've been working with Respondent I've had 10 different account managers. Something is wrong with their sales organization because that level of turnover is absurd! And none of these account managers ever seem to notify me when they move on, I just reach out about something and get an automated email saying they're no longer with the company. The fact they fully doubled the price of a B2B recruitment credit between late 2024 and early 2025 (without notifying their customers BTW) but can't seem to maintain an even halfway competent sales team is hugely frustrating as a longtime customer. Pros Being able to see the LinkedIn profiles of panelists gives them a decent advantage over competitors like UserTesting. Participant quality was always better than with other tools Cons Everything else. The recent visual redesign changing nothing about the way the platform functions, the horrible support and sales services, the awful and un-transparent way credits are put on hold, the reporting features, all of it. Il profilo deve essere confermato dalla mail aziendale, che io ho. Altrimenti non ti chiamano mai. E' divertente il fatto di trovarci projects da tutte le parti del mondo, dal Canada a Reggio Calabria , quindi suppongo che diventerà presto un sito di culto. Però se non migliorano il customer service , non credo che avranno la fortuna che sperano. Pros E' un sito divertente per dare la propria opinione. In genere propone interviste guidate da intelligenza artificiale, raramente focus group o interviste con umani. Ogni settimana inserisce molti titoli, anche se in italiano propone poche avventure! Cons Il customer support è praticamente inesistente. Mi è capitato di essere invitata a una ricerca di mercato, aver superato lo screen test, e poi essere stata respinta senza motivazione e che mi abbiano annullato all ultimo momento la survey. It is defo a good way to share your opinions and earn money on top of it Pros I really like the fact that the studies are tailored to your preferences and the mathing system. The surveys are pretty straightforward and you paid almost instantly. Cons Although it is incredibly rewarding when you get accepted for a study. Getting one is pretty hard if you have niche experiences or don’t have a lot of time. Pros Respondent filters for relevant surveys and tasks based on your provided profile. This makes it easy to only see the applicable content for you and weed out those that aren't to save your time. Cons My success rate of passing qualification tests and being able to actually contribute to the surveys and tasks is relatively low, especially when I compare this to other platforms I have used for the same amount of time/even less. This makes me question how reasonable Respondent is overall in terms of screening users for participation. The company sounds and looks legit, masked as a professional survey company. But dubious. I'm giving a review after I had ignored the invitation from this survey company for quite a while now. This was after I had completed two surveys for their New York client about sleeping patterns. It was a long and detailed questionnaire, and the pay for participation is $250USD. The other survey, a short one regarding health habits, promised a $100USD.However, for both completed surveys, I was never paid at all. I emailed them about the pay I never heard from them at all. And they were not that consistent anymore in sending surveys after the payment inquiry. Lately, I received a few invites again from the same research company, but I ignored them since I felt it was too good to be true after what I had experienced with them. This was validated by my research about the company after reading REVIEWS. It's best to avoid or be extra cautious doing such kinds of side gigs or survey tasks, and when in doubt, better to listen to one's instincts. Pros Ease of Use: The set of questions in the survey studies were detailed and thorough. Cons The interface looked professional but dubious or fraudulent when it comes payment after you completed the survey. I hope to get invited to another study soon! Pros In just the first few weeks as a Respondent participant, I was paid a total of $185 for 3 studies. They are NOT a scam. This is a legitimate website where you can contribute your skills and a bit of to take part in studies. I feel like my input is valuable because they pay me to give it! Cons One of the studies I was invited to eas completed on a separate app and it was a bit confusing. Their support team is great though, and typically responds within just hours, not days later. When weeks went by and payment was not forthcoming I emailed and asked why. They said the survey u had completed was on their site fraudulently and I was not going to get paid. ?????? I received confirmation I had completed a survey but they said they weren’t going to pay me Cons Didn’t get paid. I filled out a survey on their site but said they couldn’t pay me. Scam. I did make some money off this but as I wasn’t tracking the payments I reckon I have missed as many incentives as I received. Cons Some research companies don’t pay and respondent will take the side of them.
