It works fast, runs smooth, and has a huge library of available extensions. For businesses its great because you can manage the browser and apply/enforce policies to allow or prevent end users from doing certain things or enabling certain settings. Pros Really like the ability to tie a Google/Gmail account to Chrome profiles so that your passwords, bookmarks, history, etc. sync across devices. Chrome overall seems to be the fastest, smoothest, and less clunky web browser available. If using Google Workspace, you can enforce managed browser which allows you to enforce Chrome GPOs to your end users. Very large Chrome marketplace of extensions to install. Cons It's annoying that it's not natively installed on every operating system (Windows and macOS). Chrome is also notorious for eating up huge amounts of system RAM/memory. It is my mainstay internet browser and will continue to stay that way. The Google AI overviews in the Google Search pages are also very helpful. Pros Google Chrome is fantastic for browsing the internet, keeping multiple tabs (pages) open for research and for keeping my browser setting consistent. Learning the different parts of chrome (e.g. extensions) has not been too difficult, making the user experience a major positive. Cons There is little I don't enjoy about Chrome. The only slight negative I have noticed is that the browser uses up a large amount of RAM, which can slow down other processes if I am working with an older computer.
