Pros Google Chrome brings a very friendly, intuitive UI and it makes great suggestions to users; such as shortcuts, translations and search ideas. It has more extensions than any other browser and also desirable features as the option to search using pictures taken with your camera instead of text, this comes really handy to find out the name of anything you recognize or find interesting. Another great feature is being able to search inside youtube from the tab, without entering yet the page. The program also allows for personalization with the themes and works smoothly. It has private browsing and cloud based bookmarks, meaning that you can log on any computer and work comfortable as usually. Cons It consumes a lot of RAM, although this guarantees a quality perfomance it can turn the program quite laggy if you have plenty of tabs open at the same time while your RAM is medium to small. Programming or research usually demands accesing many sites and it can backfire. There're extensions to prevent ads and pop-ups but they aren't installed by default, this might draing mobile data and it wastes your time. I'm a longtime Apple user, and before that a Windows user, so I've normally been used to Safaria and Windows Explorer for the most. By comparison though, Google Chrome has been an incredible browser that is far cleaner and easier to use than the native browsers on other platforms. For the most part, I have nothing but good things to say. Pros First off, this is a google product that uses google search, so it's already starting off on the right foot. The layout is very attractive, tab management works very well for my purposes, and it's overall an easy pleasure using it. Cons One small thing I don't like is when there are many tabs open, it can get difficult to manage everything all at once. This is a very minor qualm though, because I think most browsers do the same thing. For standard simple browsing, no real issues. Cons New updates constantly break old features/create new bugs. Some examples are: tabs stuck loading forever, unable to reopen tabs by right-clicking on a tab, window focus automatically switching very disruptively, bookmarks dropdown closing with every single action you make (reordering a link, deleting, adding, etc.). If you use the mobile app, their news feed has also gotten worse and worse, making filtering articles a bigger hassle each time (no more swiping to remove, long pressing to hide, etc.). Surely the latest versions give a greater feeling of protection while browsing even if I always recommend using extensions that block objects that could be malicious. Personally I recommend it for anyone who needs to develop web applications that make heavy use of client-side scripting for ease of debugging via the built-in developer tool. Pros Google Chrome is a very simple product to install and use, the main advantage of this Browser is the infinite library of extensions that makes it more and more functional. Personally I use it to debug our web applications given the presence of developer tools that allow you to verify the correctness of the code in real time. Chrome is certainly the flagship browser for using Google's web applications, integrating perfectly with it. Cons The management of bookmarks is not the simplest, it is necessary to install an extension to have an advanced management of the bookmarks themselves. From a security point of view, Google appears to be quick and careful in fixing bugs, but like all browsers it collects too much information about our navigation such as the location of the client which is not so easy to disable. This is because it is stable and its supported by many development environments like visual studio code. Pros The interface of this browser is appealing to many and the fact that it comes with dark mode is an added bonus. I also appreciate the amount of extensions this browser supports. Chrome is widely used and extensible thus because of this I use it to debug websites as I create them. Cons The one thing I don't like about this browser is how much RAM it uses. As you open multiple tads it will easily fill up your memory. These are just a few examples of the various features that other browsers are already adding, and which of course are selected for different types of people. Pros This web browser designed by Google, is for those who use daily Google products, either Gmail, Drive, YouTube, Google Meet, and endless more that over the years have been adding. This web browser has been practically my search engine for several years and over time they have been improving it, however it is quite simple to use, because with the default Google search engine, we can go to our favorite sites in milliseconds. With this we can also access our bookmarks and favorite sites that over time we will be adding folders of these. Cons I have recently changed my web browser to another one, as lately I have been noticing that Chrome has been consuming a lot of space in my RAM, which for normal people, what I am trying to say is that it is overloading my computer and it is something very disappointing as with the amount of people that have this browser, they are not realizing that it consumes a lot towards their computers, but in your case if you have no problem with that, and your daily life is based entirely on Google products, I recommend that you keep using it as it is the only one with which it will satisfy all your needs. Cons Minha única reclamação, e pode ser que já exista solução nativa para isso e eu não saiba (sou usuário padrão), é que no momento de efetuar um download seja possível selecionar em qual pasta salvar o arquivo e não mandá-lo diretamente para a pasta pré configurada; e também para arquivos word/excell seria interessante a possibilidade de fazer o download e já abrir o documento de forma automática.
