Pros What I like most about chrome is the quick way to navigate, along with a simple interface, and at the same time easy to implement customizations and even to use extensions, having a wide range of these extensions. It is very easy to use. It allows to customize the page color, theme, font, font color, shortcuts and backgrounds. When I want to save a page for later use, I click on the bookmark icon and the page saves in reading list. It is safe and secure to use. By default it shows the lock pad icon on the side of the address bar and if the site is not safe means it is not encrypted on HTTPS, Chrome will indicate that a site as Not Secure in site information. Best advantage of using Google chrome is that It allows to open more than one tab on the same window by clicking on the new tab option. If one tab crashes or refreshes, it doesn't effect the working of another tab. It gives the option to drag and drop a tab to the same or new window. From the setting menu it permit to synchronize the Google account, search engine, appearances and some other advanced options such as languages, downloads and accessibility. In Android, Google chrome helps me to directly share a file on WhatsApp and find any thing in page. Google sheets is a wonderful product as is gmail. However, Google Chrome is extremely lacking. Cons Google Chrome has an issue with financial institutions. I don’t know if the financial institutions block chrome because of safety issues or if it is chrome it’s self blocking your transactions whatever it is you can be driven to distraction by multiple failures without knowing why your transactions are not clearing. Inevitably you have to switch to Safari to get your payments to go through. Pros Easy and light for browsing, especially when I want to have other and heavier programs running. It is still the standard for browsing and makes it easy to access everything the internet has to offer. I enjoy the syncing between my phone and laptop, even multiple laptops, so I can pick up where I left off. Cons Login issues between accounts is a little troublesome. Though the security side of having the 2-step verification is great, it causes issues if I don't have my phone. I now use a combination of Chrome, Brave and Opera browsers and don't see Chrome as my ride or die any more. Pros Google still keeps most of my information easy to retrieve, so I do rely on that. However, there are other browsers that do so now. Cons My search results are riddled with AI summaries. One of our ceramic digests analyzed results and 100% of answers were incorrect. You can turn off the AI results, but few people seem to know how and I spend time making sure to spread the information. Google also really doesn't want you to use an ad blocker. I understand their reasons, but I also understand my own. It can be very hard when you have people who are more vulnerable to being influenced to buy things when it comes at you constantly.
