Safari's annoying and a bit clunky, and Edge/Internet Explorer are absolute garbage, but I don't have anything against Firefox. I love that it's fast, effective, and free. Pros Chrome is fast, efficient, and customizable. Its integration with other Google products (Search and the Google suite) also adds a lot of nice extras. Its automatic updates, tracking across devices, and dark mode are all great, and the UI is intuitive. I love the clean aesthetic and speed. Cons My only complaint about Chrome is that when you click to open a downloaded PDF from Chrome, it opens it in a new tab, rather than in Adobe. Chrome can't edit PDF's and lacks OCR technology, so I wish that would stop. Cons The downside of using from what I observed is that, Google Chrome takes up a lot of the CPU and RAM as compared to other browsers. Also whenever I close a browser window which has multiple tabs Google Chrome does not give me a warning. It's a modern web browser with a lot of security and many features that make it more than just a web browser. It has a lot of variety of extensions that make many tasks easier and I always liked that. I know that it is no longer the only browser that does these things but for some reason it is still the favorite of most people. Cons One of the reasons why I stopped using Google Chrome as my main browser is because of the hardware requirement. I know that many people have complained about this, but I do not say it as one of the bunch. When I built my new PC, I wanted to experiment with another web browser, and I ended up realizing that I didn't really need that much. I'm usually a person who has a lot of tabs open and now I have hardware that allows me to do it, but using Google Chrome I'm limited in doing this in a significant way. We can also save different website passwords and the password is safe. One of the best feature is it has secure payment, so that we can make payment with confidentiality and security. We can also share the web pages, and we can also add extension, that makes our work simple. Cons As we know that everything has its advantages and disadvantages, this software also lack some features and it has also some problem with it. It consumes lot of ram in the background and foreground. The computer with 8 gb of ram is not enough sometimes, because when you open more than 10+ tabs for your work the it kills 70 percent of your computer memory. I tried using many other browsers like Firefox, Internet explorer, Microsoft edge, etc....but to me, chrome is the best. It is fast and very simple to use. This is like a lifesaver to me, where I can bookmark all the important and useful websites and use them through any device by just logging in to my Gmail account. It also remembers all my passwords so that I dont have to type my passwords every time I log in to accounts. Chrome Extensions are great. Chrome alerts when downloading harmful softwares which might put the computer at risk. The sync feature allows syncing up-to-date bookmarks, browser settings, and contacts on desktop, mobile, and other devices. When the tabs are closed by mistake or if chrome crashes for some reason, the tab that we have been working on can be restored easily. The Autofill feature saves a lot of my time from typing. I love this feature so much, and I do not need to store my login details elsewhere, which I may even forget, but have them stored on my Google Chrome account for forever, and I can automatically login to any of my partner websites by simply visiting the site and Google Chrome injects my login details for me. It's fast and efficient. Setting up separate accounts and jumping between them is really easy. Pros I really like that I can set up different profiles that allow for different bookmarks and extensions. I can use one for my work accounts, another for accessibility testing for work, and another for personal use. Keeps everything separate. The difference in the windows between different accounts is obvious with very minor customisation. Cons I do find that it can use up a lot of memory on my Mac. On Windows it is the best browser by far, but on Mac it can be a bit heavy.
