May 12, 2025 5.0 Overall, I have never been unhappy with Chrome. I switched many years ago from Mozilla and haven't gone back. From time to time, I will try other browsers but I always come back to Chrome. It has become second nature to use it and is my comfort browser. Pros I use Google Chrome for everything. I love the user interface. It makes it easy to save groups of tabs and name them, as well as leaving many tabs open. I like that it will restore tabs in the event of unexpected shutdown. I like that there are numerous plugins and extensions to make it function with other products and for safety. I develop for the Chrome browser because I feel it is the most friendly for development and a good majority of worldwide users use it regularly, although I have not researched the usages. Cons I really have little complaint. Like any software, once in a while you need to do an inconvenient update or restart the software because of the nature of file storage. My only issue as described above is the integration of AI Overview. Pros What I like most about Google Chrome is how fast of a search engine it is as well as the ease of use. Cons What I least like is the now added AI Overview, as its not always accurate. If you don't give enough information (even though it should be in theory) it will give you an answer to a whole different question. Pros I enjoy the UI aesthetic as well as the ease of making groups so that productivity can continue picking up where I left off last. the AI tool is helpful for summarizing searches as well. Cons Google chrome history can be better as I have tried to review older links that I know were visited yet they do not show up. I think there can be an AI tool to determine proper search filters. I enjoy how simple Google Chrome's home screen is, and that it has stayed more or less the same for many years. Pros I find that Google Chrome allows me to view more content online than any other internet browser. On other browsers, I find that there are websites I am required to access for work that either do not open at all, do not display all content, or will not function as intended. Cons If I had to make a complaint about Google Chrome, it would be that they are not already the default browser on the majority of consumer products. At least not that I have found. I also like how bookmarks and favorites transfer across apps and devices. Cons There's been applications that I use that request that it is not done on Google Chrome, and instead another search engine.
