I loved using the web browser and I continue to use it everyday but I sometimes use google chrome for certain things.

Pros

It is a very easy to use website browser that has built in virus protection software for the websites you visit and you can save any webpage that you need to come up first when you open it.

Cons

There is really not much to not like about the system, other than maybe the amount of time you had to spend just to download it.

So far so good. Haven't run into any major issues. I think it crashed once. But i'm not sure that was the fault of Edge.

Pros

it's free. I have not needed customer service. It seems easy to use. Haven't run into any issues with tabs, or extensions. Seems to not take up too much ram.

Cons

I don't like bing, and it defaults to bing. That's really it, otherwise so far, even though i would usually use chrome for web browsing, my new job uses Microsoft.

Happy with my overall experience. Allows me to do my research online and conduct any downloads I require.

Pros

Good search engine. No issues with searching for websites. Quick to display websites and provides a secure search. Can be used on phone and computer and can sync my data.

Cons

The default search engine is normally Bing/ yahoo which would not be by top choice compared with google search. However this can be changed in default settings to your favoured search engine so it is not a big issue.

I have both on my computer and use both. Sometimes chrome on my computer or safari on my iphone won't let me access certain websites and microsoft edge allows me to do so.

Pros

I like that it shows the news/ weather and you can customize the tabs you see on the homepage. It goes based off of what you already searched up or things that peak your interest.

Cons

It can be confusing trying to get to the website you need to get too. I personally like other internet browsers more.

I love using Microsoft Edge! It is easy for my students to download PDFs from the LMS and then resubmit them after they've completed the work using Microsoft Edge.

Pros

I use many PDF files in my AP history courses, and I needed a way for students to type on the PDFs. Microsoft Edge has a textbox feature that allows students to do so.

Cons

Unlike other products in the Microsoft suite, there is no auto-save feature. Oftentimes, students will submit an incomplete assignment because they forgot to hit the save button one last time.

My district uses Microsoft products, so students do not have to pay to use Microsoft Edge. Also, Edge makes it very easy to type on PDF files.

Better to understand the differences between this and the actual Google app, where the search engine is. I can see there are basic use features on this interface but overall doesn't provide solid reliability.

Pros

As with any internet app, the no restrictions on how many tabs are opened. I use this to be productive on the daily basis. One thing I love the most is that when or if the who screen closes out or has an update, it always provides me with options to restore the previous tabs...all of them, and it's amazing!

Cons

Nothing out of the blue, honestly it is similar to google, but probably still does not provide the amount of security google might.

I did not want to - I switched laptops, and though this is the main OS on this Lenovo device, and I can always download the google app, but I've not because the integration and ease of use on this isn't bad at all. I just noticed I used Google app for everything, but am always up for trying something new, so it hasn't been all bad.

Meh...I really do not like this piece of software. I didn't like Internet Explorer either. I just have never preferred nor liked Microsoft browser products.

Pros

Not really anything. I have never liked any of the Microsoft Browsers. I really don't like anything about it that Google or Firefox doesn't have.

Cons

Everything. I don't even know how I can write 100 words because I really don't like the interface, the ads posing as news, the search results, anything...I really don't like how the AI tries to take over everything but that is not just Microsoft. Microsoft is more annoying about it because the operating system is theirs...

Pros

I love how when you use it in your organization , it automatically signs you into your email and work apps

Cons

Whenever I use copilot and ask it to make a downloadable file such as a word file or excel, the download link never works and when I ask it to try again, it says working on it for hours and never completes when I use copilot in edge

Overall, Microsoft Edge is my main web browser that I use at work and on my personal device. Edge has made my workflow much faster saving me a ton of times. Edge seamlessly integrates with Microsoft products as well as integration with extensions from both the Microsoft and Chrome web stores.

Pros

Microsoft Edge has endless amounts of extensions available, as well as many customization options. The ability to create workspaces that hold tab groups makes my workflow so much easier with the ability to launch into these workspaces and navigate to specific tabs saved in tab groups automatically.

Cons

Although this has improved, resource usage can still be hindered with too many tabs open, especially with multiple tools open. However, I believe Microsoft will continue to push updates to resolve this.

It is much improved on previous version and previous Microsoft browsers. It is now my default option for work and easy to manage favourites, tabs, and use for daily work purposes.

Pros

Contains all the features you would want from a browser - easy to arrange and manage how you want it to display. I like the tailored news it gives you when you open a new tab.

Cons

I found it quite difficult to switch to initially in terms of importing favourites. It often reverts you default search engine back to Bing as well without really wanting it to.

Over all my experience with Microsoft Edge is so-so. It’s definitely not horrible. The comparison to Chrome is minuscule in some ways, but I just prefer the ease and setup of Chrome better.

Pros

It comes with the computer I have and is better than some applications. I like the general feel of it but just not my thing.

Cons

It’s clunky and not as easy to use as some browsers like Chrome. My computer defaults to Edge and honestly it’s a little annoying. It’s harder to cast onto my Google Chrome Cast. But it’s possible. The tabs are kind of out of reach and hard to get to appear sometimes. Not sure if it’s just me or it’s just how it is.

It was a nice, quick and precise browser search experience with Edge. This helps me catch the answers quick without it being spread across many pages, and saves a ton of time when looking up or comparing services.

Cons

Sometimes PDF previews didn’t render properly in browser and I had to download them manually, which makes the workflow slower.

Cons

It’s your average browser. It pulls up decent results and helps me find what I’m looking for in a timely manner.

Cons

I personally prefer Chrome over Edge because my work requires me to use a lot of Google Drive features, (which Edge obviously doesn’t have.)
