My experience was positive but it didn't left a durable impresion. Pros It has a great bookmark management and most of his perfomance an features are acceptable, it is much better than its previous version. It has a great download System, this is very desirable, other browsers lack one and they waste valuable time. It has a powerful advantage when it comes to specialized tasks, if your job involves buying or dowloading a lot, this browser could prove to be very efficient in comparison to others. Cons To be built on chronium, Edge still performs poorly compared to most of its competitors and it has no deployment in linux, what makes it lose users such us myself. The loading and reaction time is still high, they have improved it but is seems unsufficient. The settings area can feel counter-intuitive and the security features seem limited too. I guess I was wrong! It's crazy how much Microsoft has worked on Edge to make it such an enjoyable piece of software to use to navigate on the internet. Since my company has optimized its personal tools to work with Edge (since it's pre-installed on Windows PC), I was forced to use it for overall browsing purposes and I do not regret it. There are however still websites that aren't optimized for it yet. Pros Software optimization. It might look stupid to some, but other browsers eat up so many resources/RAM. In comparison, I feel Edge has the edge. In the end, for a tool that is being used so much on a regular basis and with many tabs and windows open, it should be the primary aspect that is being considered. Cons There isn't something specific to Edge that I heavily disliked. The only real issue I have is with web developers that are failing to also optimize their websites for Edge. I have this issue specifically for a CRM tool and when I want to use it I need to switch to another browser. Pros What I like most of Microsoft Edge is when I use it, I can go to my browser and even to continue where I left off if I close it out. I also like the layout and how the default home page gives weather, news, and the rewards store to earn points when you use Edge. Cons The one con I do have in mind is when I go on to Edge, it keeps saying "use as default browser." I wish there was a way to permanently get rid of it and not notify again and again. If you're in the same spot I am and want to do some shopping online, use Edge to avoid sharing your information to the Google products at work. Pros I like the private browsing future and its ability to protect my information. I can find information just as quickly as with Chrome. Edge also has a feature to help you make difficult to "crack" passwords for websites. Supposedly, Chrome can do this too, but it has never prompted me. It also works better with MS Word.
