Sometimes it takes little bit times to load but its acceptable. As a primary browser, it needs to improve extension store. I found it interesting for some tools like taking screenshot, natural reading mode. Pros Very fast and simple interface , helps me to use it with ease. Privacy and password saving option is very updated.In tab section, I can easily make tab group according to topic categories, which save my time to find relatable tabs.Immerse reader mode i found interesting , voice used in this section is more natural than others.Taking full page screen shot by only scrolling without help of external tools is very useful for me. Cons Main limitation I found it has less extension than other web browsers. loading time takes some time , it performs letter okey. August 18, 2022 5.0 This is a search engine that has improved over the last decades (don't forget that Microsoft Edge is the former Internet explorer upgraded, and fully transformed). It is following the dynamic of Microsoft windows; which is a good thing. I fully recommend this search engine, even though we still have some features to improve. Pros We must like: The fluidity, the boosted performances, and the pdf feature integrated into the search engine. Cons Microsoft could fully integrate into its system an Adblocker and a Bookmark, leaving adding external extensions optional. I use it when Google is crashing, but then it can crash too, like all browsers. The ability to sync everything I have in Google or Chrome is key for not only my personal use but business also! I will always use Microsoft edge as my backup browser but I also sometimes use only that for long periods of time, and do enjoy it! I am an expert at any browser use and this is, in fact, a great one. Pros They sure have changed. I could not stand it for the longest time. But they continue to improve and I love the sidebar where you can see so much at a glance. I think all browsers should offer that. Most do, but I think they offer a bit too much there and Edge's is perfect. Cons I think it is watching me in different ways than Google. Meaning, I sense there are more things they want me to do because they know what I do. Privacy is key and though they are known for great safety, I sometimes feel it is lax. Google know what you do and I am okay with that and all I note is perhaps ads related to my searches and interests but Edge seems to throw more at you and that is mainly why they are my second choice browser. Cons After 6 months of use, it started to get slow and buggy. It also had some security problems with some websites. I tried to play with the security settings, but still the same problems occurred. I was always a Chrome user and out of the blue, I decided to give it a try to Microsoft Edge. To my surprise, it genuinely outperformed Chrome in every single way using less resources and battery overall. That still holds true to this day. I use my laptop quite often to get my work done and I don't always have power outlet near my place so it is very crucial to use a browser that isn't power hungry. Chrome in comparison used way more power and ram astronomically high resulting in poor battery life. I also encountered a variety of bugs and errors on Chrome which is frustrating. Features on Edge are useful and unique and I regularly use it. I would recommend everyone to use Edge as it is really underrated. Cons Frankly, I don't have any bad experience with this lovely browser. Maybe, there were a handful of instances but I didn't really notice them. Due to its good speed, and easy integration of other softwares, I do not feel the need of installing a separate web browser to my windows. Pros Microsoft Edge is a successful attempt by Microsoft Inc to replace its always complained about Internet Explorer with something worthy of its opponents like chrome, firefox etc. It has a sleak and intuitive design and a minimal interface which leaves enough screen space to users for browsing content. The home screen interface is lso customizable and you can select the screen of your type from options. It loads content faster due to its improved algorithms and low memory requirements. The private browsing mode is also very effective in evading cookies. Also it provies improved privacy due to its superb tracking prevention mechanism. Microsoft has worked a lot to integrate good playback tools in Edge. It also supports alot of third party software loke pdf reader, etc and work flawlessly with them. Along with its own plug-ins, it also support extensions offered in Chrome extensions store. Though its default search engine is bing but you can change it to Google easily. Cons Microsoft Edge has high system requirements, which means that it won't work on low end devices, but other than that I haven't encountered any hurdles while using it till now. " December 14, 2023 4.0 Great, I would recommend this for anyone. Business or personal. Pros Microsoft Edge is honestly a very good browser. So much so that I left Google and brave to use it full time. The microsoft rewards program Insentives are amazing as well just for using edge and searching via their search engine every day. (and various other tasks to earn). Over all I don't think I could go back to any other browser. It has built in ad block, tracking prevention, and soon you can add more extensions (on android mobile, desktop already has extensions). The speed is great, I haven't had any problems at all. Highly recommend. Oh and did I mention the Copilot AI? It's built in the browser and can answer questions from your web page or just random things, generate images, and much more. Cons Lack of current extensions for the mobile app but that will no longer be an issue soon. It's also really good on mobile and has replaced Safari! Pros I love how fast Edge is to use. It's smooth, lightning fast and looks incredible. It also has a beautiful collections feature where you can keep bookmarked websites into folders. it makes bookmarks so much better and you actually go back to them due to the ease of finding what you're looking for. Cons The snippinng tool can be frusrating, it should be a good feature but let down by not being able to capture your screen (from what you see). There is only an option to manually capture which can be annoying to use or screenshot the entire page which isn't ideal. Also it doesn't directly let you save, only copy or markup which is a strange decision not to add a 'save' button to download.
