It's more stable than its predecessor and more reliable too. My searches never freeze and the CPU/Memory workload is more impressive than Google Chrome. April 16, 2023 3.0 It was good, but it just did not give me the same full and varied user experience Chrome does. Also the integration with Gmail make Chrome a better option for me. If Google Chrome didn't exist this would be the browser I use. I used Ede exclusively for about 6 months. Then when I used Chrome one day, I never turned back. The interface, and user experience was just better. Pros I like how it comes pre-loaded and is the default browser when you purchase a new Windows computer. It has some nice intergration with the apps that come with your computer. Cons It just did not have AS many features as Google Chrome. Also not as many file extensions. Chrome is also a bit faster in my experience. Not to mention the search functionality of Bing is just not as good as Google. It is because I am using Microsoft Teams as my class studying. So, when I want to watch the class recording back, I have to use Microsoft Edge as well. There are few features in this application that seems very helpful for me. One of the features is the download button. When I want to download something, I can check how many MB or GB that I need in downloading which is very helpful in preparing enough MB or GB for downloading. More than that, Microsoft Edge only use low RAM which makes my laptop super-fast while browsing. Overall, I enjoy using Microsoft Edge as much as he other browsing apps. Pros Microsoft Edge is a really awesome web browser to use and it is currently the current browser I use on my Windows 11 PC since 2022. I enjoy it a lot more than Google Chrome which used to be my old browser. I can still pin certain websites on the Favourites bar so I don't have to type them up just to access them. I can access them a lot quicker when I click on the pinned icons/websites underneath the search bar at the top of the browser. I can use them to get to a certain website faster and if I put less words next to the pinned icons, I can have more room for more pinned icons that I can instantly access. I can also still pick Google as my default search browser anytime I want. Cons I can't scroll down on certain Wiki websites and I can't use the arrow keys to go up or down on the said websites. It also supports the thousands of extensions present in Chrome Extensions Store, which further increases its productivity and functionality. Edge also comes with improved privacy tools like tracking prevention. It is available for and works on all operating systems like windows, Linux, Mac, Ubuntu, Android and iOS.
