### "Graphic Design with Photoshop"

May 24, 2026

4.0

It is the only software I have used since 2020 to edit images and create some cool artwork for my freelancing career.

Pros

It is the best software I have ever used for digital art designs. It has such a huge variety of tools to edit images and with so much ease for my graphic design work.

Cons

Sometimes it can become overwhelming with the amount of tools and settings it offers if you are a beginner.

Switched from

Because Photoshop is more widely used than photopea and allows more options while exporting the projects.

### "A classic Adobe powerhouse tool"

April 19, 2026

4.0

Pros

I've used Adobe Photoshop for years in different capacities, mostly image editing. I have appreciated that Adobe has continued to keep the product features relevant with the technology that is becoming more available to us today (like A).

Cons

Everytime I use it, I feel like I spend hours relearning the interface. I wish it were more intuitive and user-friendly for beginners and even intermediate users.

### "The sad state of Adobe Photoshop"

February 4, 2026

2.0

Adobe is wants us to believe that their products are gold standard in image processing and spearheading the "AI Revolution" The truth about the technical state of Photoshop and their so called AI is ... Not only the AI revolution is not happening. In fact Adobe is offering a technically outdated and partly dysfunctional product as state of the art and at the same time putting their customers at a disadvantage wherever they can. Users who hope for a plethora of new productivity tools and features, stellar performance gains with incredibly more powerful hardware will be thoroughly disappointed as compared to even CS6. The product is basically still on the technical level of 2012, bugged, extremely slow, inaccurate and cumbersome. Changes applied in the past to introduce "modern" features made it worse. People who apparently never worked on a professional workflow designed tool and interface behavior that disrupt your learned workflows and is in part strongly counterproductive. Some highlights: Even basics do not work properly. Custom key or workspace configurations break and get reset frequently to the defaults. Adobe is pestering users with new tools and features which mostly are just useless, annoying and hindering your workflows instead of offering progress. Memory management is basically absent leading to constant out of memory errors even on 64 GIG machines while processing rather small files. Multi-Tasking at least across Bridge and PS ? Too much for Adobe in 2025 to master such alien technology Problems with GPU integration are everywhere rendering GPU support basically useless. The clues less support staff tells you not to use GPU Acceleration features if you run into problems ... Its like as if Porsche would tell you not to drive your car if you experienced issues ... Processing speed is abhorrently slow even on high performance machines. There is not really a performance gain at all compared to the 2012 version. Due to the overhead of useless new features its rather slower. Working with the same files from 2012 does not show improvement. On a machine which is insanely more powerful. Text management is still on the level of PS 3. Barely usable. If you are offline text can no longer be changed. Rendering of PDF Text is like a lucky draw ... Often the text does not render properly breaking your design. Only rasterizing solves such issues ... Insane ... Their tools can still not create good object maskings ... now AI would certainly be helpful here. Alas its nowhere to be found. Instead we are dealing with the same outdated tools from a decade ago. The PDF engine can still not auto process PSB files properly. Color statistics synchronisation across image series is still missing from the toolbox. The color Matching is an inferior and laughable attempt to address this. Patching is still not able to realistically remove blemishes on sightly larger areas without blotching everything. The Bridge application could be the perfect complement as a file manager but it is so bugged that it is just a nuisance. The performance is ridiculously bad even with ultra fast NAND SSD. Creating thumbnails takes minutes and need to be recreated almost each time you review a certain folder irrelevant of what you define in the settings. Opening an already fully indexed folder sometimes takes 10 seconds until you can start scrolling ... if you click too quickly the app freezes. Modern UI feelings ... Settings break all the time ánd need to be reapplied. Finally, the highly praised AI is either hilariously absent from the program or generates laughably bad results. Nude photography is excluded even from the "AI" functionality. Fact is ... companies like Adobe or Phase One do simply have no idea on how to leverage AI and improving a product. They are big mouthed about those thing while they do not even have age old standards like image file management mastered.

Pros

Ability to perform extensive digital editing and surgery with options to organise layers in groups and apply individual effects.

Cons

Weak performance even on high end machines Lack of overall stability and plethora of bugs, overall quality Absence of innovative tools and processes General lack of progress in application development compared to CS6 Lack of integration with Camera Raw, Bridge and other tools Abysmal performance and quality of the bride application

### "FANTASTIC!"

June 2, 2026

5.0

Fantastic! I love the software and its ability to adjust images as I see fit. Adobe's investment in AI further realises the potential of the software.

Pros

This is the industry leading photo manipulation software. I like its ease of use and comprehensive tools to be able to create the images I want.

Cons

There's little to fault with Photoshop, I've only experienced one instance of slow down, but after speaking with the customer support team, they helped me achieve what I needed to.

### "All the feature is helping in any creatives creation."

May 19, 2026

5.0

i start using photoshop before 4 years ego and currently photoshop is a perfect part of my professional work and personal work. it's best part for desiging any kind of area like standies, social media post, brouchers, leaflets, billboards, EDMs and etc. So, yes it was any amazing and great experience with photoshop all the time. and also saving part is most importanrt so again it gave me various options.

Pros

What i like the most about photoshop are their feature. i like ptich tool, blending effect, brush tool, imaghe editing features like clarity, adjustment, face makeup and everything. on the other side i can add many layers as what i wantes in any image. plus there are many options for 3D effect generation of any logo and any object. there were also one good part of mirror effect you can create same thing in the other side so that also good. so as a designer i had many many more positive reaction for photoshop. But yes it's perfect softwear for any designer.

Cons

what i don't like is the sometime when i am removing background of any kind image it can not work don't know what the issue but yes i am facing this issue so many time.

### "The undisputed industry leader for a reason"

May 6, 2026

4.0

I have been using Photoshop for professional work since multiple years to create user interface design elements and perform advanced photo editing tasks. The software maintains its position as the industry standard because its collection of tools exceeds all other available options. The non-destructive workflow can be mastered through Smart Objects and Adjustment Layers, which no other software program provides at this level of control. The tool serves as a fundamental requirement for all dedicated creative professionals who want to succeed in their work.

Pros

My productivity has improved through the complete integration of Adobe Firefly (Generative AI) into my workspace. The 'Generative Fill' feature enables me to extend backgrounds and remove intricate objects within seconds, which previously required me to spend hours on manual cloning work. I depend on 'Neural Filters' for fast portrait touch-ups and 'Object Selection Tool' for its improved accuracy which has developed throughout the past year.

Cons

The software requires a lot of computer resources to run. My high-end workstation still exhibits lagging problems when I handle large PSB files and multiple Smart Objects. The Creative Cloud subscription model costs small organizations too much to implement while I find the 'Home' screen cluttered with unnecessary cloud suggestions during my offline work.

### "The standard of image creation and editing, at a price."

May 8, 2026

4.0

I started using Photoshop just to make minor edits to photographs for printing purposes. Every new feature or tool I found to use reset the clock of learning such a deep program, so while I can do so much more using it at this point, I feel like I still don't know even half of its capabilities.

Pros

Photoshop does everything you need for creating, editing, and improving raster images. It's the standard for a reason.

Cons

The cost for organizations is prohibitive for many small businesses, but many potential clients or collaborators use it, making it a necessity.

### "Too much AI, Too Complicated, Extremely Powerful"

May 9, 2026

4.0

Pros

It's an extremely powerful editing app and it keeps photos and files intact better than a lot of drawing and painting software. If you have adobe suite, it's also easy to shift files from app to app, link them, and work in multiple spaces at once. Some of my favorite artistic tools are the pattern design tool and

Cons

Because it's so old and constantly being updated, stepping into it as a new user at this point is extremely overwhelming. It also seems like photoshop is trying to have the features of every other app and not fulfilling them as well. I.e., it has okay drawing features but can be kind of clunky, isn't as simple for photo editing as Lightroom (but is probably more powerful, to be fair), and doesn't work as well for type as Illustrator but has decent type tools. My biggest issue with it is how much they're pushing AI. As an artist, it's a disappointment and makes me worried about putting my work in the software.

### "It's still the gold standard of photo editing "

May 27, 2026

4.0

Very good, I've been using Photoshop since I was a child and I find great value for money in the older versions where I own a one-time license but I wouldn't pay for an annual subscription as the value for money isn't high enough. I simply don't use it enough to justify the expense.

Pros

It's the gold standard of photo editing software and I love how you can add preset actions, this is something lacking from most professional photo editing suites.

Cons

A lot of the features, I don't use very often and whilst it's a very good, intuitive bit of kit, especially with the AI, I have found free programs to be suitable for at least half of the work I use Photoshop for

Pros

I like that it's free and has a lot of different filters and editing things you can use to spice up your pictures

Cons

### "A Very Happy 12+ Year User"

December 12, 2025

5.0

Overall I am very happy! Originally started using when Photoshop was a single download product with "keys" to make it function - I have loved moving over to Creative Cloud and getting updates as they come.

Pros

I have been using Photoshop for 12+ years, so the list of what I enjoy about it is rather long. The biggest advantage to me is the wide range of tools they offer, and how often Adobe updates these. My current favorite has been the AI Generative Fill - it has saved my photos more than a few times and has been a MUST in my toolkit!

Cons

I would LOVE an automatic update system. I find myself accidentally an update behind due to the manual nature of most updates. This is something very small, as even the "previous" version of Photoshop doesn't usually stop working (unless I find myself VERY behind... but that has only happened once) and this isn't a big issue at all.

### "By far the best Photo editing software available"

December 9, 2025

4.0

I have a friend that is a professional photographer. I have seen him do amazing things with Adobe photoshop. He told me it was easy and suggested I try it out. I love all the functions but even after two years of use it's a bit overwhelming at times. This is the standard for almost every professional photographer, many graphic designers and digital artists. Well worth the cost in my opinion.

Pros

Love the multitude of available tools available for basic photo touch ups to highly detailed digital art projects. I have tried several other photo editing programs and none compare.

Cons

Photoshop is not for amateurs unless they have a lot of time to invest in learning how to use Adobe photoshop. I actual hired a friend that is adept at it to show me what he knows but there are still features I have never tried.

### "Crucial piece of software"

December 19, 2025

4.0

I use Photoshop on a daily basis, whether I am colour correcting or cleaning up images, it is a vital piece of software for me.

Pros

It is a fully comprehensive piece of software which is crucial in my role as a graphic designer and pre-press technician. The customer support is good with some really helpful tutorials and there is a lot of automation built in in regards to image editing making it a lot easier to use when creating designs.

Cons

It is hard to keep up to date with the changes and updates. It is capable of some clever things and it is a learning curve! Also the worst thing I find is that it no longer supports Pantone colours. This has been a huge set back.

### "Photoshop user since 2004"

March 14, 2026

5.0

It's powerful and robust. Tutorials and even formal instruction on how to use the software or how to achieve certain results are plentiful.

Pros

Familiarity for one. Have been using it for the last two decades, but there is a reason why "Photoshopping" is synonymous with photo editing, retouching, and manipulation. It works.

Cons

Subscription services are a pain point for many users, and justifiably so. I've come to accept it, somewhat anyway, where Photoshop is concerned, because the updates in the last few years have been quite substantial.

### "Great photo and graphic design application, but with a learning curve."

January 22, 2026

4.0

Overall it is one of the fullest capable photo editing packages around and with the plugins and addons it really can not be beat.

Pros

Adobe Photoshop is a full featured photo editing package, it has a ton of capability and ability to create graphics and logos with ease.

Cons

As great as it is for having a ton of capabilities, it isn't the easiest to learn and as new upgrades come out certain things move around and so you have to re-learn where they are.

Pros

Cons

### "Endless possibilities for photo editing"

March 25, 2025

5.0

I have been using Adobe programs for about 20 years now and Photoshop is one of them. Fantastic tool to edit photos, I do think possibilities are endless.

Pros

With some knowledge and experience you can do literally everything using Photoshop!

Cons

Nothing really but it hot so large and advanced I only use a small % of its functionality. I would appreciate more “magic tools” meaning some very quick way to achieve some results.

### "Best photo editing software available."

March 11, 2025

5.0

I have been using Photoshop for over 15 years and in that time it has come a long way. The days of spending hours comping assets are over. You can work faster and get the better results. It makes life as a creative much easier and gives you more time to creative rather than spending time doing the boring tasks of old.

Pros

Photoshop is the best photo editing software out there and it keeps getting better. The new ai content aware fill and other AI generations, make editing photoshops quick and efficient. Rather than spending hours comping in elements or extending images, it can be done in seconds.

Cons

The only issue with Photoshop are in the text options. Its not really the best place to be adding text, but the options and features are bit off compared to adobes other programmes. Same with the artboards, if they were more like Illustrator, they would be a lot easier to use.

September 29, 2025

4.0

I have been using it for around 10 years and I think it is one of the best software programmes on the market and will continue to be so for many more years to come. There is no direct competitor.

Pros

I like the versatility it offers, the regular updates, which are usually very useful new tools that adapt to current technologies. It is also quite fast and smooth, if you have a good computer that supports it.

Cons

The interface has not changed in many years and could do with a bit of modernisation, although I do not see this as a major negative point.

### "My all-time favourite software"

July 31, 2025

5.0

I worked daily with Photoshop for years, and when I moved to a job that used Illustrator more, I missed it. It is the best art software around, and I'd recommend it to everyone.

Pros

I love Photoshop. It works so closely with the user and makes everything so simple and easy to use. I know a lot about Photoshop, but there's always something new to learn about it. Especially with AI now, it makes photo editing so effortless, while keeping the software creative to the user's needs.

Cons

Sometimes it can be slow for simple features, such as opening a new document. This happens when the software is updated, so reverting back to a previous version is disappointing.

Adobe Photoshop is much more affordable and they have limited versions for mobile which makes editing easy on the fly.

Pros

Adobe photoshop is powerful and is getting easier to use for the general user. It integrates well with Adobe Stock which I use. And Adobe Creative Cloud.

Cons

It’s getting easier to use as an average user. In the past it was much more complicated. With it integrating with so many other Adobe apps it is a robust program that is also now much more affordable.

### "A Must-Have for High-Quality Photo and Design Work"

November 20, 2025

4.0

Overall, Photoshop delivers incredible value for anyone who needs advanced editing tools. Once you learn your way around, it becomes an essential and extremely powerful part of any creative workflow. Whether for photography, graphic design, or digital art, it offers unmatched flexibility and professional-grade results. Despite the learning curve and cost, the capabilities it provides make it one of the best editing tools available.

Pros

Adobe Photoshop is incredibly powerful and versatile, offering professional-level tools for everything from simple touch-ups to complex, layered designs. I love how precise the editing capabilities are, and the ability to work with advanced features like masks, smart objects, filters, and retouching tools makes it the industry standard for a reason. The integration with other Adobe products, as well as access to Adobe Fonts and Libraries, makes workflow smooth and efficient.

Cons

Photoshop has a steep learning curve, especially for beginners. Some tools can be overwhelming at first, and it requires time to become fully comfortable with all the features. It can also be resource-heavy and run slowly on older or lower-powered devices. The subscription model may feel pricey if you’re not using it regularly.
