Our customers generate on-the-fly custom maps on our site, and TargomoAPI's speed at processing these complex computations ensures that as an e-commerce business we don't ever make our customers wait while in the checkout process. In short, their data visualization / route optimization has allowed us to create a unique product, while their speed of processing requests ensures we don't lose customers during checkout. Cons Depending on your needs, the initial configuration for an API request can be intimidating. Ilalso really like the fact that the API is regularly evoluting, allowing us to think to develop new features. Pros Easy to use (I don't have complaints from my dev team) Cons The main problem I face is about data sources. Exemple on Isochrone maps for cars during peak hours in Paris. Do you use modelled traveled time based on another city with data collected form Here or do you use directly Here travel time data ? I feel that they provide a good variety of parameters to adjust and the public transport feature is quite impressive. Sometimes I need to calculate these travel times areas for a large number of points and Targomo handles this very fast. Cons One downside for me was when starting out, it took me a while to find out how to use it and how to integrate Targomo in my R script. There was some documentation, but for my setup (and as someone quite new with these kind of tools) it was a bit trial and error to get it to work. So perhaps a more 'low level' introduction to this tool would be interesting. Review Source SV Sven V. These queries allow us to efficiently calculate the areas accessible by different transport modes across a large number of cities. Based on manual checks, the areas seem to be accurate across many different cities and countries. The GIS polygons produced are very detailed.
