Simple to use, and quite intuitive. I appreciate the variety of features it offers and it’s great for what is needed. Easy to collaborate with teams, and leave notes. Cons I have not encountered something I dislike about the app. At times can be a tricky when non-Apple users have in their computers, but more on the design (font style) aspect of it. It has nothing to envy to Microsoft Word, on the contrary: compared to Microsoft's competitor, Pages is much lighter, documents open quickly and in general there is a much more agile use of the system. I love the simplicity of the design the overall aesthetic how it looks nice and just simple however, it’s still a very powerful writing tool. Pros As a writer who is written stories on and off for a good portion of their life, I must say that pages was a big help and my creative process I like the collaboration tools that they were introduced within the last couple years, as well as the layout, the fonts, and the way that you can set up the tools inside of pages to your advantage for writing Cons I would say the only thing that I have to complain about with pages is the fact that when you’re writing a story, and then you bring the story down to the size to be printed in the book, the spacing is not always correct Review Source Raquel C. Pros La cosa che mi piace di più è che questa splendido word processor sia gratuito sulla stragrande maggioranza dei dispositivi Apple. Pages è un programma simile a Word ma risulta più semplice e intuitivo e tramite la correzione automatica aiuta l'utente a scrivere in modo più corretta e a evitare eventuali refusi. Le opzioni di progettazione sono facili e intuitive ed inoltre sono presenti un buon numero di template preimpostati per aiutare l'utente a creare facilmente i suoi documenti. Pages consente di aprire e esportare senza problemi i file di formati diversi (.pdf, .doc, .epub e molti altri). Cons Purtroppo alcune volte ho avuto problemi di compatibilità con i documenti Word. The interface clears away all the unneeded features so I can just get to work without clutter. However, I've noticed that something as simple as formatting bullet lists can turn into a big deal. Once you get used to it, you'll figure out where the settings are so it is manageable if you don't have a lot of heavy formatting requirements. It's a great alternative to Microsoft Office if you are invested in the Apple ecosystem and don't need all the bells and whistles. Pros It's so easy to create documents and access them or handoff to other Apple devices. It's simple interface makes it easy to open quickly and get started. Cons Many of the features are kind of hidden to keep the interface simple. This can result in making it more difficult to create documents with a lot of formatting. I suggest Scrivener instead. Pages is also useful for sharing projects with collaborators, as well as reading your documents on the iPad. Pages also includes templates for various types of projects like brochures, but honestly, it's easier and better to use Canva, the online graphic design tool. Cons A little challenging to learn advanced features like page and document formatting. I find it very easy to use. Pros I've used Pages since I got my MacBook Pro in 2016. I love that my docs. are in one place (iCloud) and I can access them on my iPhone at anytime (if I don't have my computer on me)! Cons Not universal like competitor (Microsoft Word). During school, I'd have to export every document before submission to a PDF or Word.
