It can also serve as a security feature leaving the document in the format it was designed with rather than exporting to work, excel etc. Cons Due to the versatility of windows, documents created with pages without conversion will not be accessed on windows. I find that it is much easier than Microsoft Word for these two jobs. Cons Since Microsoft Word is more widely used, I use it for word processing documents and those that I plan to share with others. Customer Trainer Computer Software Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "A good solution for writing on a Mac" July 27, 2021 4.0 Pros Sometimes, I cannot wrap my head around the fact that a tool like Pages comes installed on Mac computers for free. In my opinion, it is a solid tool and can work well for writers of different levels. In particular, I like its clean and distraction-free interface, which makes it easy to only focus on the task at hand and nothing else. If you have used a writing tool before, then you are going to find most of the features you are familiar with. Two big things I think make Pages stand out and are features I am sure most users are going to really benefit from: mobile app and collaboration feature. Are you often on the move? Then, you will be glad to hear that you can work on your Pages documents using your tablet or smartphone. And if you are part of a team, you and the other members of the team can co-work on a document in real-time. Cons One thing I sometimes struggle with and that makes my experience with Pages a little frustrating has to do with formatting. If you are creating a Pages document and want to add several images to it, you may be forced to spend quite some time organizing the content so that it is displayed in the way you want it to be presented in the document. Pros I'm using Pages daily and love the simple, yet versatile UI and the look of the final documents. You can focus on writing and still be sure that your output is good-looking, for larger documents you can directly export as the E-Paper compatible .epub-Format. Pros This app is easy to use, it has several features suches the letter font, size, colors, type of letter, I mean you can easily customize your documents, and save them on iCloud or your own device storage, it´s easy to share your files with other people via Air Drop, wich is another fucntion of the app due to the iPhone softawre so it becomes even easier when you have such a device. Cons it´s compatibility, because it´s made for iPhone you need to have one in order to get the app working correctly, another cons is that when you export your file to another platform suches word or another sheet, you might not get the actual document if you customize it earlier. I did get quite a few design ideas from the program though which I implemented in my google doc designs. Pros It certainly has a great variety of tools available. I first started using it, because I loved the simplicity of using the design ideas it offered. It was faster and 'cooler' plus simpler and more modern than word. Cons It's incompatibility with other similar programs. This was the very reason that as an organization we actually switched from Pages to Google Docs, because Pages was only available for anybody using a Mac which didn't make it that much of a practical tool especially in light of working in 3rd world countries where people don't have easy 'mac access'. Si riescono a realizzare diversi tipi di file come inviti di compleanno, poster, certificati, biglietti da visita, curriculum, volantini. L’interfaccia è ricca di funzionalità e intuitiva. Inoltre si può collaborare anche con altri utenti al progetto. Cons L’unico problema riscontrato è che lavorando da un dispositivo mobile la funzionalità diventano meno flessibili e inoltre i files creati non si possono aprire altrove a meno che siamo convertiti in formato PDF.
