User friendly and helpful" May 8, 2025 4.0 My experience with Safari has been positive. it has never been negative. I have been testing software and websites on it for several years at this point and have zero complaints. Pros I like it's clean interface. I don't use it often but it is definitely my go to on Apple products. I tend to use it most when testing web based software and websites. I would say it is my third favorite browser. Cons I really have no complaints about Safari at all. I find it very useful and I enjoy using it when I do. It is set as the default browser on my personal devices. Pros I like the fact its privacy features like Private browsing, Tracking Prevention, IP address masking, and integration with Apple Apps. Cons It is not supported on other OS -Windows or Linux. Other than that, it is a robust and friendly user. But lately, I’ve been using it more intentionally, and I actually appreciate how lightweight and smooth it feels, especially on macOS. It just integrates really well with the whole Apple ecosystem. Pros It’s solid. Pages load quickly, and it feels snappy even when multitasking. Battery life is noticeably better compared to Chrome. I also like how Apple is stepping up its privacy game. Safari’s tracking prevention and privacy reports give me a bit more peace of mind without needing a bunch of extensions. Cons There are times when I run into compatibility issues with certain websites or tools that are clearly optimised for Chrome. I still switch browsers for some research workflows or dev tasks. Cons It sometimes cannot open desktop site for certain website which causes me to shift to chrome or other search apps. It's easy to use and offers many features that other web browsers don't offer. Pros When using a new program, I want to be able to use it on all of my devices. Safari is one of those browsers that works seamlessly with all my Apple products. Once signed in, I can access all my web pages and login information. I also like that the design is minimalistic and very easy to use. The handoff feature for continuing web browsing between devices is one of the main reasons I use Safari. Cons The one thing I do not like about Safari is you are not able to access it on other devices made from other companies. It also lacks some extensions I used when I used Chrome. I used it along with chrome , Firefox, Microsoft edge. Since I have been using it, it is working well for me. Although I use to face bugs problems sometimes. Nonetheless, it is still a good browser for me. Pros I like its high speed of browsing. It is so easy to use for browsing. It has a fast search engine. Page is easy to manage on it . Also password is secure Cons It is just that there used to be issues of bugs sometimes. Aside that , it is not available on android devices. I can only use it on iOS devices only. Pros Safari for me is the top browser out there, it's not a ram eater like chrome, it's fast, easy to use, reliable and the privacy from trackers and the ad blocker features are top notch. it also syncs between iPhone and my MacBook so it's great. Not that great in regards to versatility, features, and security. Pros Safari's biggest advantage is that it comes prepackaged with all apple devices/products. Besides that, it's a fairly rudimentary browser that doesn't take up much space on a computer. Out of all the browsers out there, Safari is one of the fastest and lightest browsers to have on a computer and/or device, simply because it is simply built without many features or add ons. This makes it a good web browser, as well, for those who are brand new to surfing the internet. Cons The features for this browser are limited. Privacy settings are minimal, security is best only on apple devices, and bookmarks management is only useful mostly in relation to iCloud. The minimal features of Safari, severely narrow its usability to just visiting different sites on the internet. Reason for choosing Safari First browser on my first apple device. I made the switch from Bing to Safari and I don’t think I would ever turn back. Safari is just very user-friendly in nicely designed. I don’t think I would change very many things about it. Highly recommend using it. Pros It’s a really nice browser that integrates with the Google suite pretty well and saves your passwords so you don’t have to keep a thick book with all of them that you would constantly have to update. I think we all know how painful that can be. Cons I wouldn’t say it’s almost as good as Google Chrome to me, but I think this is specific to me because I use the Google suite so much so naturally, Google Chrome would have a slight edge on safari in my opinion.
