Lasso has helped us become a hundred times more efficient on our day to day processes! I have had great customer service experiences as well. Overall looking forward to the evolution of Lasso and to remaining a loyal customer!

Centralized information, rate information, crew roster, event history list, ability to duplicate jobs, ability to invite multiple people to an opportunity

Cons

\- no automatic reminders (have to craft emails for each event) - no option for admin to make crew "unavailable" or "declined" if the conversation happens outside of Lasso - no admin app for updates on the go; the platform is really on a computer web browser - no ability to download crew lists for a whole "tour" (have to download individual event lists and provide to clients) - rate breakdowns are inconsistent and the timesheets need a lot of cleanup before submitting to ADP for payroll

Great 5/5 across the board, it has helped us to scale in a smooth manner. The platform is user friendly, scheduling is easy.

Pros

Great customer service, super responsive and always looking for feedback from the clients. All the products we currently use (scheduling, project management) work and adapts to our needs. Now we are moving into the time management in the app and we can't wait to see all the benefits.

Some easy tasks like deleting project managers or users have to be done by Lasso reps and not by us the account administrators

Overall, I'd say my team's experience with LASSO has been solid. The ability to see the schedule easily plus track our inventory is really beneficial when we've got team members and gear all over the US.

Pros

The thing that really sold me on LASSO was the ability to make scheduling easier. When we've got as many events as we do, it takes a whole lot of manpower to be able to pull these events off and LASSO's scheduling has the potential to make it easier than methods used in the past.

Cons

I think what surprised me the most was that there was a lot of training required to get going. I don't think this is a legitimate con, of course, because receiving training meant that we were receiving support and I really like that.

Lasso is a helpful software regardless of any flaws it may have. The best part of my experience is the team that is always ready and willing to help my dozens and dozens of questions.

Pros

Lasso employees have been very helpful every step of the way. The Inventory tab is easy to use and understand. Although some features aren't added yet, they always help find a solution or workaround for the time being.

Cons

There are too many clicks to get one thing done. Some aspects of lasso have been overcomplicated. The Scheduling part - money charged for OT labor has been a headache to deal with. As well as substitutions when an item as already been packed.

Great! They have a lot of spokes to offer and there is flexibility in how you decide to set items up and utilize the software to best suit your business needs. Their Customer Support team is very responsive and helpful. They want to hear your feedback to improve the software!

Pros

The convenience of having all major items in one system! Being able to have the Quotes, Gear Orders, Warehouse Operations, Crew Scheduling, Payroll, and everything in between. Helped us streamline our processes from both Internal and External Operations across all facets of the company!

Cons

Some clunkiness to some of the different spokes or areas for information. While everything is in the same system, not every pieces continually talks back and fourth with each other, leaving for some manual updates occasionally.

So far, so good! I have attended the Lasso trainings which were extremely helpful and engaging. Nestor and the team have also been helpful across the board. I'm excited for what the future brings in this software and the push it can give my company and myself in such a positive direction!

Pros

I love the versatility that Lasso offers. Fun fact but my girlfriends sister utilizes Lasso with her Non-Profit Organization work and it's completely unrelated to what I do. I'm still in the first steps of Lasso but I love that it's able to hub all of our inventory, create events and staff (which will be huge for us), and our teammates being able to access this info via the app from all over the country.

Cons

I'm not fully there yet. I haven't had enough experience with Lasso to determine what I'm not a fan of.

Pros

By large, their best service offering is their scheduling software. It is the perfect solution for live event organizations to crew their events. It is based on crew availability vs. staff unavailability, making it perfect for businesses that rely heavily on gig-based workers. They are constantly improving their platform and features based on the feedback of their customers. Their staff is very friendly and responsive. They are very easy to work with and personable. Offers a full suite for AVL companies that include inventory, project management, proposals, logistics, and partnerships to offer payroll. Lasso has also created a community of like-minded AVL companies to generate new ideas and work together.

Cons

There is no free trial, and start-up costs can be a little pricy. Recently, they changed their model to be an all-in-one solution, so it can be expensive for ala cart options. There is a lack of integrations which makes many things a bit of a manual process. There is a slight training curve for you and the crew, but the onboarding team is very great and always willing to help.

Our first year with Lasso have been wonderful in working with crewing, scheduling, time, travel and project management. Still hoping that we can branch out into more services eventually but for the most part its been a very enjoyable experience. From beginning to current, Lasso has been there to make sure we had all the tools and knew how to use them and everything in-between. Its been an absolute pleasure working with them.

Pros

Hands down, the customer service and interaction is one of my favorite elements of Lasso. They are always standing by "off stage" in the wings ready to go if you have any questions or concerns. It feels like VIP service really and second to none on putting the customer first which is so important. Not to mention, having a dedicated CSM who is your coach and cheerleader and pulls the stings needed to resolve issues or move them to the right team members for further investigation. I honestly feel like family with the Lasso team members and community, its a very special feeling that makes me very happy to be a part of. The loop is a fantastic benefit that ties into the customer support and community involvement and brainstorming. It creates an awesome situation where you can work with your industry peers and produce ideas as well to take on to your own companies. The ease of use and value for the money with what you are getting with the platform is quite remarkable. And scheduling certainly helps with the day to day labor planning and scheduling lifts for the various events. The platform operation is great and where there are glitches the team is all over it and improving it every day.

Cons

Mainly the fact that the time system is separate from the Lasso platform, a bit outdated and not as user friendly to work with. Only other item would be the mobile app not having full accessibility to the platform for crewing, database access and general operation.

Rock the House has been with Lasso since the start, and the amount of improvement I have seen since then has been enormous. Working with your team has always been pleasant and helpful. The constant work that has been done on it makes me very excited for the future of the platform.

Pros

I enjoy the integration of all things sales, labor coordination, and inventory. I like how enthusiastic the Lasso team is and their willingness to work/listen to clients. Some of the UIs I really enjoy. I think there are lots of good things I don't use quite yet and am excited to dive into them more when I get time.

Cons

There are still bugs and weird things that happen from time to time. I don't like the warehouse activities page and never use it. It's just not how I visually look at things. I want/need transfers to happen better. Unshipping shows needs to be a thing somehow. Even if it's only a select few people who can do it or it can only be done for a certain amount of time.

Overall, I am incredibly pleased with LASSO. From the ease of use of the platform to the incredible customer service, I would recommend LASSO to any production company that is in need of a useful tool for their needs. It sure beats manually updating an excel file every day!

Pros

Using LASSO has made payroll so much easier, being able to export a report to upload directly is a game changer! Saves us from having someone dedicated to timecards & payroll, and all it takes is our Labor Coordinators doing the job they do every day. I also find their customer support fantastic - I always feel like our comments and feedback are noted and taken to heart. Everyone I've met there has been so personable and easy to talk to, they really feel like a big happy family at the company and it shows in their product. I find their sit easy to use from a user perspective as well - The schedule page is very easy to understand, as well as incredibly efficient once you know some of the tricks. The date filter in conjunction with bulk adding shifts is especially useful for building schedules! Lastly, being able to access our live data via the LASSO API has been a total game changer from a Data Analytics standpoint. We are only scratching the surface at my company with what we could do with this, and I fully expect our business decisions moving forward to be not only easier, but more lucrative for the company as a whole.

Cons

The schedule+ portion can get slow to load for some of the bigger shows and events we build on the platform. Also, not having the roster tab updated based on the pay rates input in schedule+ can be a bit frustrating at times, having to input the same number on separate pages.

I wasn't on the team that decided to go with LASSO, but I was on the implementation team. From what I've seen, we found LASSO to be at least comparable price wise to the alternatives, while also offering more on a base level than the others. Also, the user experience far exceeded the other companies offerings.

Ever since we started using LASSO earlier this year, I have enjoyed every second of using it! It has made booking and managing travel so much easier, especially for freelancers.

Pros

From a travel coordination standpoint, I love the ease of booking itineraries directly through the LASSO event page via AmTrav. It is seamless, hassle-free, and user friendly! Also, the 24/7 travel concierge team has been amazing at helping with last minute travel needs!

Cons

In all honesty, I don't have any complaints about LASSO! It is a lovely interface and makes all event details easily accessible.

There aren't enough good things to say about my experience with Lasso. It is incredibly easy for my project management to learn and use as they are building quotes and managing orders. It makes my labor coordinator's jobs much easier by giving them one location to manage all scheduling and communication with crew. Our inventory team loves how it builds orders and makes it easy to pack them while keeping the project management team easily updated with the status of order. All in all, an incredible gift to the community! I look forward to continuing to grow with Lasso for years to come. I have no doubt it will soon be THE industry standard.

Pros

Where do I even start? The customer support was the first thing that I noticed. Rapid responses to emails, eagerness to jump on calls to make sure things were explained clearly, consistent follow up to ensure that we were experiencing success with the product: all attributes that attracted us to Lasso.

Cons

The lack of customization of some elements was a bit of a downer occasionally. However, as the platform continues to grow and improve, the customization ability has increased substantially.

Lasso is the most seamless employee scheduling platform I have come across in my 10 years of freelancing as a professional technician and administrator. The app is easy to use for crew members, and is constantly evolving to meet the growing needs of their customers.

Pros

Lasso is purpose-built for the Live Events Industry, which means it is capable of catering to the specific needs of a Production Company, vs. a generic warehouse business model. Their focus on customer support from our Customer Success Managers has been exceptional in helping us solve and address minute issues that arise on a regular basis.

Cons

Our company's subscription utilizes the TimeKeeper SwipeClock, meaning we are bound to this older payroll system, that is not yet fully integrated with our ADP module. We are working to get this workflow streamlined, but it is the third time around, and has been a somewhat drawn-out process.

Scheduling labor and tracking people's hours is so easy! Customer support is pretty quick with a 24 hour turnaround time 98% of the time! This has saved so much money and time for my company!

I'm still getting used to the inventory management, as far as barcoding and scanning things in and out but it could just be a learning curve!

I had some things I wasn't liking but Lasso has been great about making the changes we needed. They have been so good to us.

Master Tour was not listed but that was what we were looking at. It did not have inventory. We were looking for a single solution
