Having the less frequently used services automatically hibernate (to save resource usage) is a real help. I feel that a paid plan is almost necessary in order to have spell checking available—which I feel to be essential for the types of services commonly used. I like how it is structured --> it is very organized. Cons I miss a browser app which would behave as google chrome does --> you could have multiple tabs open. basically a browser app that would open links which you click in other apps. Now you can have only one link open at once (if you click it opens a new tab and if you click another link it overrides previous). I even had a feature request at one point and I reached out to support... the devs actually listened, responded, and then implemented my request! I have never seen that happen in an app before! Pros I love Rambox! It keeps all my communication apps and sites in one place, and all my communication notifications in one place. I have it set to start with windows, so it is always running, making sure my man communication apps are always running. I also use it for my calendar app and a couple others I always want open. It has become an essential app for me. Cons The ram consumption is very high, on older laptops it eats all of my memory... but that is an issue with the individual apps/sites more than with Rambox. In addition to a large number of presets, you can create a link to any page 3. Ability to create multiple logins on the same network (on different tabs, of course) Cons 1\. sometimes a notification appears on the label of some service as unread, but there is nothing there 2. Quite unclear mechanism for cleaning caches and other accumulated network garbage. Now I have a folder weighs about 6 gb (/appdata/Roaming/rambox), it is much more than it was before the installation. And how to clean it I have not found. Having my Onedrive, Google Drive, iCloud, etc all right I didn't think of but has turned out to be super convenient. Pros Rambox conveniently puts my most common websites and apps in 1 location. Even better it doesn't allow certain websites to eat up resources (Facebook, Amazon) that normally cause your browser to run slowly after being on their pages for a short time. For personal use I find the free edition does everything I really need. Cons It would be convenient if you were able to have multiple profiles, ie two facebook profiles and stay logged into each but that is if I am nitpicking. My workday efficiency has improved as I can access pretty much any app, tool or website that I need to on a daily basis right from Rambox. Cons I had only one issue so far with Rambox and it was with printing. When I would print, the app would crash and I had to restart. Got a bit annoying. It runs a ton of processes, be it cloned apps or others without breaking a sweat, lagging, stuttering or anything else. I personally use it for 11 Discord accounts, and it's super easy to swap between them without any issue. It's also nice to be able to give a custom icon to each. Cons Even the basic plan is a little bit pricey. Personally, I'd put it at a $5 value though it's still not expensive. Definitely the two worst things about it though is how it can hog resources (assuming you have a lot of things simultaneously enabled though they're disablable) and the fact that spell check isn't included for free. It's a very crucial, very innate thing for most apps and technology, an no matter what you use it for I definitely imagine spell check in a must. No more loading 100s of pages and missing clients/deadlines. Pros With Rambox it allows me to run all 3 of my companys at once, All of them have facebook, buisness accounts and before i would have to log out and log in and it was a nightmare, now i just switch the tab. I also like the workspaces, for my websites i can have my building sites in one workspace, SEO in the other etc and it makes my life alot easier.
