About two and a half years ago, our company decided to try a virtual customer service team for the first time. We were initially hesitant about whether an offshore team could deliver the level of service our customers expect, but after evaluating several providers, we chose Wing — and it’s turned out to be one of our best decisions. Wing paired us with an exceptional Customer Service Manager who communicates clearly, handles complex situations with professionalism, and actively participates in our team meetings. She genuinely feels like part of our in-house team. We also appreciate how Wing supports and values their team members. Bad. Very, very bad. The assistant that got matched with us went rogue and wrote a Glassdoor review to personally attack the \[sensitive content hidden\] of our company.The experience was probably the worst experience I’ve had with a vendor. Ever.

Pros

I like the fact that that they hire for you. Our account manager took our feedback and adapted after the first match wasn’t a fit which we appreciated.

Cons

The model doesn’t allow you to select the person you hire. This means that it’s very unlikely there will be a good match.

Overall excellent. I think the happiest users are ones where you have very clear ideas of what you want accomplished, easy to follow instructions, and a committment to ongoing communication in the early stages to ensure continued great outcomes and results. Reading minds is very difficult, at least for me - so make sure you know what you want, and communicate with your virtual overseas team to ensure the best results.

Pros

Excellent onboarding process, my assistants work as promised. I did have to communicate a lot at the beginning, but I think that's normal.

Cons

None, I have no negative things to say about Wing Assistant. My manager and my team take direction well.

Working with Wing has been an outstanding experience. Their communication is clear, proactive, and always professional, and they’ve truly become an extension of our team. Everyone is easy to work with, highly reliable, and consistently delivers quality work. Although the team is based in the Philippines, we’ve had zero issues with time differences—scheduling calls has been seamless, and the overnight workflow has been a huge benefit. We can hand off tasks at the end of our U.S. workday and wake up to completed work the next morning.

Pros

If you’re looking for strong operational support with excellent communication, dependable turnaround, and a team that integrates smoothly into your workflow, I highly recommend Wing.

Cons

Working with Wing has been an excellent experience. Their team in the Philippines communicates clearly, integrates seamlessly into our workflow, and truly feels like an extension of our company. We’ve had zero issues with time differences—calls are easy to schedule, and handing off tasks at the end of our U.S. day means we wake up to completed work. The only downside is that it can take some time to find the right staff match, but once in place, the support is fantastic. Overall, Wing has been reliable, efficient, and a meaningful boost to our operations.

Their people integrated into our workflows as true team members—not just task-based contractors. Flexible and adaptable. Wing collaborated with us to find the right fit and was responsive and accommodating when a replacement was needed.

Cons

Time zone alignment can be tricky. Depending on the resource’s location, scheduling and real-time collaboration may require some adjustment. Initial onboarding takes effort. While Wing provides great talent, integrating them into our systems and processes requires a bit of upfront training.

Cons

Honestly, there wasn’t anything I disliked about Wing. The only downside was having to let my assistant go due to company restructuring after an acquisition, which was a difficult decision because the service was outstanding.

Pros

We loved our experience with Wing. They placed \[sensitive content hidden\] to us as a BDR and he was FANTASTIC, a very quick learner and so coachable. Our customers only had great things to say about him and the support he offered. He was very communicative and easy to work with, we would've loved to keep him on if we could've! I recommend \[sensitive content hidden\] to anyone!

I wish it didn't take so long to get placed, it would be great if it only took like a week or even 10 days!

Exceptional! We love our assistants - they are very much an extension of our team. Our assistants manage their workload, time, and feedback very well.

Pros

We work with two assistants who are incredibly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to research industry best-practices to constantly evolve and improve their outputs. They check in through the day to let us know they're online and engaged.

Cons

Billing/ customer support is a bit slow to respond. We've had a bit of trouble attributing monthly bills to the proper brand and had to switch off autopay, which caused a bit of confusion.

Positive, though aspirational. I engaged with Wing prematurely based on my own circumstances. I was able to gain value from the service, and greatly respect and enjoy the team members that I worked with. Unfortunately, I was too busy for too long to properly and thoroughly onboard my Wing assistant. When I'm in a better and more stable situation, I will definitely consider engaging Wing again.

Pros

Consistent and quick responsiveness. Strong ability to follow instructions.

Not much. My negatives were limited to my own circumstances with respect to being too busy to design and structure assignments.

Pros

Wing provides a platform along with an exceptional Virtual Assistant. You get the combined benefit of working with a VA and the workflow benefits from their experience in effectively working with VAs. The results are exceptional.

Cons

I have nothing to complain about here, as Wing is very flexible in how you use their software when working with a VA.

At this price point, it's amazing to a have a constant helper available via browser, app, and even phone number. Even when there is something that I can't solve myself, my account manager (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) is always within reach.

Pros

I love the workflow tool that enables my assistant to do all of my recurring tasks without me reminding them. Additionally, the Slack integration is very cool and convenient.

Cons

Until a few days ago, there were still a few bugs. However, the new software version does look much nicer and works pretty well so far.

### "Help for repetitive tasks "

Wing allows me to automate my daily, weekly reporting tasks. This frees up time to focus on more important initiatives within my company.

Pros

The service was easy to set up. Once an account was created, I began loading videos. Tons of tools to help document the tasks you want the VA to perform. Tools such as video, process docs, and chat in app. Every morning my VA lets me know when they come online along with letting me know when the sign off for the day.

Cons

On occasion the app will get buggy on mobile. I just close it and reopen. Then everything is fine

### "Best experience I've had with an executive assistant"

Pros

I've worked with lots of executive assistants over the years and hands down love working with my assistant at Wing most of all. The structure Wing has set up is really effective. I love knowing there's always a real person working on my tasks, having managers helping, knowing my assistant is finding AI tools to optimize. I often recommend Wing to clients, friends, and family. I'm big fan.

Cons

Hard to think one but if I had one—it'd be that I do wish it was a little easier to meet over Zoom or have my Wing assistant join Zoom meetings.

Reason for choosing Wing

Other than Fin, which is no longer around, I'm not aware of any other tools that are similar to what Wing offers.

Still exploring. I haven’t had the chance to check out all the availability of the software mostly because it works better on desktop and I have a greater access to mobile app more.

Pros

Wing took less than minutes to setup and their team was absolutely exceptional in answering any questions that I had. It's extremely convenient to use and we are beyond thrilled with our EA. Wing is an expert at matchmaking!

Cons

Right now the conversations are in a 1:1 setting instead of a group setting however, wing is working on a way to chat with your assistant in a group message so that your whole team can be in sync.

Can handle a lot of miscellaneous service - we used it while we were scaling. Setup was a breeze, so fast and easy.

Cons

We didn't use Slack (which they had an integration with) so that took a little getting used to (now we use Slack, like everyone else).

Positive, proactive team. Communicative and responsive to our needs. Seems creative in trying to carve out a niche in the market.

Pros

Ongoing proactive outreach from team to ensure that service was up to par. During initial onboarding, when the first candidate they found wasn't ideal, they took the time to find a candidate that was the right fit for us.

Cons

The management portal that was part of the original vision was quite ambitious and while it had some cool features for workflow definition and automation, we ended up using external scheduling and collaboration tools instead and never logged in after a few months. Not sure if they ever improved but it was frankly easier to use the tools we were already on.
