Pros

Quality talent across the skills we need. Wing consistently sourced capable digital marketing professionals with the range of expertise our team requires. Works within our systems and processes. Their people integrated into our workflows as true team members—not just task-based contractors. Flexible and adaptable. Wing collaborated with us to find the right fit and was responsive and accommodating when a replacement was needed.

Cons

Time zone alignment can be tricky. Depending on the resource’s location, scheduling and real-time collaboration may require some adjustment. Initial onboarding takes effort. While Wing provides great talent, integrating them into our systems and processes requires a bit of upfront training.

We had an overall positive experience with Wing from the beginning. We were assigned our Wing teammates within 2 weeks of signing up. They integrated into our system seamlessly and did a great job of communicating throughout the program. We never experienced any service or coverage issues throughout the program.

Pros

We partnered with Wing Assistant to provide customer service coverage for our non-business hours. We needed coverage from 4:30 pm to 8:00 am M-F and 24-hour coverage on the weekends. Our Wing teammates provided this coverage without any interruption to support our basic business functions. They easily integrated into our tech stack making communication with our Wing teammates seamless. They did a tremendous job of supporting our customers and prospects throughout the entire partnership. Wing Assistant provided us a budget friendly option compared to either hiring for 2nd and 3rd shirt or reconfiguring the hours of our existing team.

Cons

We did not have the opportunity to interview our Wing employees before they joined our program. All three associates were tremendous, but in the future, it would be beneficial to have input.

Pros

The recruitment and onboarding process was efficient and effective. We are a lean company and making poor hires is costly. Wing Assistant saved us from those costly mistakes.

Cons

I can't say that I dislike anything. Get involved in the interviewing process if spoken fluency is a big deal. The more detailed you are, the better they can recruit for you.

I believe my Wing assistant would stand on his head if I asked to. He proactively asks for priorities, clarity on assigned projects and consistently and continually updates me on progress. When he sees opportunities to improve what we're trying to achieve, he makes suggestions. He's all I can ask for at this time.

Pros

I've been impressed with quality of work we've received from our Wing assistant, \[sensitive content hidden\]. His attention to detail, passion, and continued learning is refreshing to see with a new hire and we're seeing the return on our investment already.

Cons

Overall, my experience to-date has been all positive. If I'd imporve one thing it would be to allow some flexibility in format of daily updates, but that is not a ding, just a preference.

Pros

We loved our experience with Wing. They placed \[sensitive content hidden\] to us as a BDR and he was FANTASTIC, a very quick learner and so coachable. Our customers only had great things to say about him and the support he offered. He was very communicative and easy to work with, we would've loved to keep him on if we could've! I recommend \[sensitive content hidden\] to anyone!

Cons

I wish it didn't take so long to get placed, it would be great if it only took like a week or even 10 days!

Pros

Great screening, saves me time with interviewing, great communication and support from the account managers.

The only thing is sometimes there is an initial language barrier but it is minor, so it just takes clearer communication

Overall I was very pleased. The team was professional, the talent of high quality, and the turnaround time on all questions and request was fast.

Pros

The turnaround time to getting a virtual assistant was only about 48 hours, and she turned out to be very good. The pricing was very competitive, and my VA was available on a schedule that worked for me. I also had an assigned Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] who was able to help with with any questions I had about Wing itself, its offerings, as well as someone to discuss any issues I might have had working with my VA. Whenever I contacted \[sensitive content hidden\] he was able to get back to me within 24 hours. Truly great service.

Cons

There were a few minor technical issues with the mobile app vs. the in-browser experience. That said, the technical issues didn't prevent me from working with my VA, and the Wing team was responsive to my issue reports.

My VA, Meenakshi, was friendly, responsive, and hardworking. I was not always good at describing what I needed but she was always able to figure it out.

Pros

My VA was fliendly, hardworking, and flexible in what she was able to work on. The workflow was an interesting feature as well. The costumer support was fast to reply and deal with any issues I had.

Cons

I had a bit of trouble initially adding the app to my phone, but I think that was fixed with an update.

They got the job done without any hiccups. It took a week or so to find the right person for us, but after that everything worked out fine. Also communications was excellent.

Pros

Very professional. The whole experience was pretty seamless and our job was completed on time. The person assigned gave us an update every morning about what he plans to do that day and at the end of the day he reported what had been accomplished.

Cons

In the one month I worked with them, I really cannot think of any - the person assigned to our project knew his job, was punctual and professional.

Pros

Very attentive to our needs, great with communication. All assistants assigned have been nothing short of amazing.

Cons

No complaints with Wing, the only struggles we encountered were related to internet connectivity with some assistants located in areas prone to Typhoons and and VOIP app connectivity issues with assistants in Mexico. Bling was offered but did not work well with our systems in place.

They sell you an "expert" EA with 5-7 years experience but they have call center experience, not EA experience. So she had no idea how to use QuickBooks, Google Suite, etc. I asked for a refund

The EA did clock in / out on time, was nice, and tried her best. I liked her personally.

Cons

Not transparent about the background of the EAs, won't let you interview or assess skills and culture fit.

Wing Assistant also allows replacements free of cost if clients are not happy with their Assistant. You seem not to have had that option with your service. Finally, all Executive Assistants at Wing Assistant are vetted and have ample experience specifically in their field. You seem to not have had that experience. This was the best VA experience I've had with the talent itself. There is a lot that is good and works with Wing. You can't beat the value of the service and support. Love the workflows and the idea of the kanban board. Given I had previously led a team in the Philippines, I was prepared for how to work with my VA and navigate cultural nuances to create a strong relationship. This is a fast-growing, ever evolving business. Be prepared to bring a bit of patience as the company learns, grows, and improves....and know the intent to create a good outcome is always there. As with all technology platforms, information security is critical and I would recommend taking a more conservative approach by creating separate log-ins for your VA (vs. using the credentials feature) and confirm they have current hardware and software. Neither of these are Wing callouts, rather personal recommendations.

Pros

The virtual assistant support was really strong, so they employ great VAs with a desire to serve and support. I was also impressed with the speed of support and their willingness to take on work of a wide-variety. I really had a great experience with my VA. It was easy to send tasks via email or text. You can also enter work into the platform itself. Love the concept of the kanban board, just needs some enhancements to make it as useful as it could be. The ability to build workflows in the platform was great....my VA was able to do a multi-step process, and execute it really well, the very first time because of the workflow feature. The value of what you get is really strong. The people of Wing have a high commitment level to serving and resolving any issues that arise. As a fast-growing and fast-evolving business, the approach to solving isn't always spot on or people on the ground aren't always aware of viable solutions, but it is 100% well intended...so if you don't get the resolution you want/need the first time, keep trying.

Cons

Wing needs a way to collect user feedback in real-time. The kanban board doesn't allow me as the user to close out an item. The interaction between the app and desktop can be a little spotty at times. The credentials feature in the Wing videos sounds more secure in the videos than it is in practice. This isn't the fault of Wing, as this feature is as secure as it could be. I would highly encourage users to set up their Wing VA with their own log-ins to various systems vs using this feature. Lastly, the Wing VAs are supposed to have minimum laptop and software requirements. Ask and confirm that is the case, as the latest software security measures won't work otherwise.

Wing VAs are well screened and can manage tasks in real time without the need for drawn out instructions which often make it worse than doing the task yourself.

Cons

The onboarding process was a bit confusing, and the matching takes a bit longer than expected - but thats an expectations thing not a problem. I just didn't know what to expect.

I've been trying to solve extending myself more. I feel good that Wing's helped me make good gains there.

Pros

The assistant I brought on through Wing has been wicked helpful. She's coachable and works hard to learn new tools and processes. I can truly rely on her.

Cons

The UX/UI of the Wing software itself is clunky. To be honest, though, it's unnecessary to me. All the features of the software (task management, communication, etc) I solve with tools in my existing stack.

Pros

I have used Wing several times over the past few years, and I’ve always been very impressed with their service. The online platform makes it very easy to explain tasks and recurring responsibilities, and the assistants themselves are extremely communicative. Much higher quality than any of the other services that I have utilized, and the cost is very competitive for businesses that have a need for “retainer” type assistance that is not billed by the hour.

Cons

No complaints. The assistants are communicative to the point of over communicating at times, but I really can’t complain about that with service like this. Better than the alternative.

At this price point, it's amazing to a have a constant helper available via browser, app, and even phone number. Even when there is something that I can't solve myself, my account manager (\[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]) is always within reach.

Pros

I love the workflow tool that enables my assistant to do all of my recurring tasks without me reminding them. Additionally, the Slack integration is very cool and convenient.

Cons

Until a few days ago, there were still a few bugs. However, the new software version does look much nicer and works pretty well so far.
