Before partnering with QA Wolf, we were dealing with a steady increase in production bugs and recurring regressions, and our engineers were constantly being pulled away from feature work to triage and fix them. QA Wolf is helping reverse that dynamic. They have surfaced many pre-existing defects in our applications that prior testing efforts had missed, regressions are now caught before they reach customers, and our engineers are back to focusing on building product. Almost four months in, they feel like an embedded part of our team and have become a partner we wish we had brought on much sooner. Pros Their customer support is one the most responsive we have experienced from any vendor. We work with them entirely over Slack, and we get real human responses at any hour of the day. On the test management side, they own scripting, execution, and triage end to end, and when a test fails they immediately determine whether it is a real product bug or a test that needs updating, so our engineers never have to interpret results themselves. Throughput on scripting has consistently exceeded the original commitment. They have already authored most of the budgeted tests and are tracking to 80% of the budget ahead of plan. Cons Honestly, very little. The only friction was early in the engagement, when we were still aligning their workflow with ours. A few iterations were needed on their Asana and GitHub integrations before everything felt seamless. They handled every request quickly, so even that did not become a real pain point. Each test is targeted and thorough. When problems are found, they are quickly assessed and a bug is reported with clear details on the issue. Cons There could be a better way to alert QA Wolf that a bug has been addressed and ready to be tested again. On a few occasions, completed bugs remained open in QA Wolf.
