You also get a free try to do the work it is amazing. Pros Was very easy to use. I had to use for a college assignment and was able too. January 28, 2025 5.0 Excellent for the most part. Be sure and double check the sound levels before publishing though! Pros The ease of use and the simple ways to put together a great video. Cons Some limitations in the story add feature and not being able to go back to the story builder portion of the platform. Review Source R Reviewer Pastor Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Not pleased so far." March 2, 2025 5.0 Not being able to download my videos when I want it is actually too bad. It has made my experience very awful. Having to make a video and not sure if it will download immediately is traumatising Pros Video generation is top-notch and clear. Loads of visuals Cons I’m actually unhappy due to the error message I get when downloading videos sometimes. Currently I’ve not been able to download a video I spent hours working on for the past 48 hours. Review Source R Reviewer Owner Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Pictory rapidly becoming a very comprehensive system" January 24, 2025 5.0 Overall its an astounding programme and replaces 95% of the work needed to build videos in Premier Pro ect Currently the only limitations are lack of stills and text animation which I hope you will add at some point - the ability to have text appear during the slide, at key moments would elevate the to a truly professional system. Also the option to add a blur filter between the stock video and the text would again lift this. Pros Script building and the accuracy of the auto video selection - for the videos I have produce on average 7/10 of the video selected is good. Cons I don't think there are enough British voiced ai voices - I also have struggles with the speed of speech and a general feeling that most lack a sales type presence. Lastly, please make the outline/shadow an option and not the default for headings I also think that it would be more useful if the on screen script and script that the Ai uses could be separate to allow for adding characters to overcome pronunciation Review Source R Reviewer Sales and Marketing Director Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Super Happy with this tool" February 24, 2025 5.0 It helps us to create videos in many languages , quick and cheap but with very good quality Pros Pictory is incredibly easy to use and very user-friendly. The intuitive interface makes video creation smooth and efficient, even for beginners. It simplifies the entire process and saves a lot of time! Cons One small downside is that sometimes finding specific features requires some searching, as they are not always immediately visible. More portugues from portugal (not brazilian) voices will be a plus Review Source R Reviewer Retired Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Awesome product." I work with many other content creation programs, and the is the best Pros It is very easy to use.The so is excellent to create great content Cons Nothing...so far, I am very happy with the product. I’ve also introduced Pictory to them, and they find it to be an enjoyable and engaging tool for both their class presentations and personal projects. Pros Pictory has a simple and easy-to-use design. The dashboard is clear, and the tools are easy to find. Even though I’m not a video editing expert, I was able to start making videos quickly without much trouble. Cons Passwords, my fault I always forget them. Review Source R Reviewer Founder Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "A very good program for exactly what I want to do." February 18, 2025 5.0 Very good! I have suggested Pictory to family and friends. Pros It's easy to use, and the outcome is very nice many people have complimented me on my videos. Cons I still want to be able to easily in Pictory, add my voice as one of your Ai voices choices. Review Source R Reviewer President Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Amazingly powerful user friendly software" January 22, 2025 5.0 I created a conference presentation and it was a huge success! People called it the best presentation of the conference. I also created a couple of lessons based on my book available on Amazon (called Super Happy by David Kaufman), Pros Amazingly powerful software! Many great features. I really appreciate the images and video clips. Edting is easy. Cons Some of the voices sound artificial and the music is not always good. I am a novice with NO experience creating videos and yet with Pictory I've produced 70+ videos (1 -15 minutes long) over the last 9 months. LOVE it! The result is HIGH quality videos that I can quickly edit if needed. Cons No complaints here. It does what it promises and it's easy! Review Source James P. Chief Lion Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Super Simple Video Creation That Saves You Time" March 21, 2024 5.0 I love the ease and speed with which videos can be created with Pictory. Pros I just input the text, and the software will select the videos for me and caption them. I just need to spend some time editing the videos for some scenes and also splitting scenes when there's too much text on a particular scene. The recent collaboration with ElevenLabs and Getty Images has boosted the quality of the videos. Cons The auto voice generator can often mispronounce certain terms. Also the limit is videos of 20 minutes. Review Source R Reviewer No Title Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Will recommend pictory!" November 18, 2024 5.0 My overall experience has been very positive Pros Pictory is very easy to use, very detailed, love all the options. August 27, 2024 5.0 My experience with Pictory has been excellent. The software is easy to use and offers a fantastic range of features that make video production enjoyable and efficient. I was able to produce high-quality videos faster than I expected. Pros I loved the ease of use in Pictory and the ability to create professional videos quickly. The software saves me a lot of time and effort, with advanced editing tools that perfectly meet my needs. Cons The only area for improvement would be offering more creative templates or flexibility in customizing elements more deeply, allowing users to create more unique content. The platform’s user-friendly interface and range of features make it easy to quickly create professional, engaging videos. I especially appreciate the intuitive editing tools and the extensive media library, which allow me to add visuals, music, and text that enhance my content. Pictory has significantly increased my productivity, helping me produce valuable videos that resonate with my audience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to create high-quality videos without the steep learning curve!" Pros Powerful Tool for Creating Valuable Videos. Cons I honestly can’t find anything I dislike about it. I have a hit podcast with high levels of audio production and great content. I wanted to move that to video and YouTube, but its daily and at least for the conceivable future will not earn money. So I needed a quick way to construct a video to augment the audio, but it has to look professional and have excellent graphics. Pros It's the ease of use and speed with which it produces a quality product. I don't have time to learn all of the mechanics of editing and production with a new tool. It automates the whole process, but it looks great. Cons There are a couple of things about it that are problematic or not as easy. I find placing your own text on a scene (or slide) is workable but not easy. I've made some mistakes that took time to fix. I wish the branding elements were as easy and as creative as the rest. Review Source R Reviewer Owner Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Can you afford not to try Pictory for to create mazing videos? " March 11, 2024 5.0 I'm very happy with Pictory and it keeps getting better. Pros That is easy to edit and create awesome videos. Love the video scenes and the new professional voices. Cons Not sure, it's a really good product already. I would love to see my own AI image speaking with my own voice. I'm currently being ghosted with questions of "when" the site will have full functionality again. With so many issues, follow-up is critical... in their case? Its not even on the radar. The site just feels like a project that was not ready to roll out for proper/advertised functionability. Spent a few extra dollars elsewhere ... Pros Its marketed as easy an easy to use drop down video generation doftware. When properly functioning, it is a very basic and servicable option. Cons Pictory operates as if its under a beta testing mode. Randomly, you'll experience site failures and inconsistencies. For the past 2 weeks, the video generation option has been down. No word (literally) on its status changing.Audio / Voice over upload to text is off. A 5 min audio, read from a script, will generate an 8-10 min video - which results in unnecessary time spent editing. Some of their background music does not pass Youtube copyright claims - meaning you get a strike, not a copyright claim with approved use.I could go on ... I will then have to copy the content from my blog post into a text to speech SaaS and then export to my computer and import to Davinci resolve to a timeline. I will then have to upload the stock videos to Davinci Resolve and then trim to match the specific sentence. The entire process takes almost an hour. Although, with Pictory, the process takes less than 20 minutes tops. Pros \- Ease of Use when selecting videos to match text - Fairly accurate transcription - Good feature set. Pictory UI is very intuitive. I was able to easily jump in and use the Article to Video module for my existing blog posts. The Ai b-roll video selection isn't the best but the ability to perform a refined search for a replacement video was easy. The additional tweaking necessary to create a usable video still requires less time, then having to manually go to a stock video website download the asset, then import to a video editing program and then match with a specific sentence. The edit videos with voice using text feature is amazing. The ability to quickly edit out all the filler words is amazing. The cut is a little abrupt, but it's better than hearing the filler word. I was also able to trim down an existing video asset to include only highlights at record time. Before, I had to remember certain sections of the video to cut. Now, I can easily skim through the script and highlight the key talking points in the video and voilà, done and done. I love it. Cons \- Filler word cut out is abrupt - Limited number of usable Ai text to speech voices - Inability to use pre-recorded voice over for all slides. (I currently have to use another text to speech software for each slide) this just takes too long. I ended up just using Pictory text to speech voice out of frustration. At least there is one usable voice that doesn't sound too robotic. Pros I like the script to video feature and the article to video feature. Cons I haven’t found a way to set the aspect ratio for a video prior to creation; and once you create a video with a specific dimension, when you go to resize it for another platform, it doesn’t resize well. For instance, when you make a YouTube video 16:9 and go to resize it for TikTok video 9:16 the images exceed the border. It would also be nice if victory had a talking avatar creation feature. It could also be a little faster. There are also quite a few video clips to choose from. Cons On my computer, once I choose a video clip from my favorites, I can get back to the library to search. I have to save the project and reopen it. Also, it would be helpful to have folders for favorites so I can make categories instead of scrolling through all of the videos I have saved as favorites. Review Source R Reviewer CIO Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Pictory Review" September 30, 2024 5.0 Great experience, easy to use especially for simple YouTube videos and shorts. Pros Simple to use and a nice sized library of visuals with a reasonable subscription price. Cons I've noticed some bugs, specifically when you duplicate a video (I do this often because I first make a longer video then duplicate it to trim it and make a short version) you will often lose the the text from the original video and it will change it to the initial text created by AI when you use Article to video. Then have to manually fix the text obviously. otherwise no complaints. Review Source R Reviewer Owner Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Pictory Review " May 29, 2023 5.0 Pros Pictory has saved me time, as I was using various platforms to complete a video. With pictory, this can all be one within their platform. They system is also user friendly and easy to use. Cons The only thing (and this is being picky) is I may from time to time have to change some of the animation. But, as they have a vast range of images and videos to choose from, this can be done easily. Review Source Saibal G. Global Tech Lead Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "I am excited to get an AI partner like Pictory in my Content Creation world" July 20, 2023 5.0 Pictory is a giant step ahead in the recent AI world. I am a regular content creator for YouTube and Social Media. Any standard content creation takes minimum three to five hours to give something a presentable shape and that too after spending on a lot of other subscriptions for audio-visual content. Pictory is all-in-one and the potential is limitless. I can see it as my playground for many more coming years. I know a team behind this AI tool is constantly working to improve this and I am excited to see what is coming up next! Kudos to the Pictory Team!
