Pros Simple to use and a nice sized library of visuals with a reasonable subscription price. Cons I've noticed some bugs, specifically when you duplicate a video (I do this often because I first make a longer video then duplicate it to trim it and make a short version) you will often lose the the text from the original video and it will change it to the initial text created by AI when you use Article to video. Pros The more you use it the more familiar it becomes. Also, customer support has been beneficial. Cons I need to use Alamy for some paid images since images for certain, specific people or companies are not available in the Pictory library. Unfortunately, using Alamy can become a bit expensive. Maybe in the future Pictory could include Alamy either as part of their library or as a paid add-on. I am not good in editing, so pictory takes care of that part too. I am making videos bcz of the simplicity of pictory. There are lots of customization in terms of background and text have come up. also every month something or other thing is adding to the arsenal. Cons I think the processing and adding voice overs takes time. it should be optimized for faster & better process. Also there should be option for division of screen of a slide in multiple parts or there must be some sort of arrangement where multiple parts or views of different things can be presented in a single slide. in text a sound must be added for type writer setting, Also there should be a option for text highlight option if using some text in the form of a picture or poster from outside sources. the duration of video in basic plans must be increased to 15minutes. Pros I love the speed of the text-to-video feature. This is the one I have been using the most. I have not used the long-to-short video yet, but I need this feature, too. Cons In the audio or voiceover, it's difficult to edit my own voiceover when I record it completely outside pictory, so when I upload it, it becomes difficult to cut certain parts of my audio to fit exactly in the video scenes. Pictory was the best by far of the tools I tried to accomplish this, and I'm proud of the results, especially as a complete novice. August 15, 2023 5.0 They have a great Facebook group and they roll new features all the time!I love getting a Pictory update email and seeing what new cutting edge features they released and watching the really helpful tutorial videos that always accompany the new features.It is so easy to use. There is zero learning curve. It has made me so much more presentable via video because I typically use a lot of filler words like umm, so, right?, etc. Pictory deletes these with the flip of a toggle. I feel so much more confident with my video content because of these features. Pros Being able to cut out text from transcription of my recording and the video deleting that exact scene instantly is so amazing. It save soooo much time. Cons I'd love to see them amp up their folders / video organization system. It is a little tough to navigate your files at a glance and I'd love a sub folder feature. Pictory has editing tools that no other software has to my knowledge.
