With one click all the possibilites are within reach. When you dive a little deeper you will notice that it has so many more functions than you initially expect. Cons I do not really have any remarks regarding Greenshot. It is a produc that does what you expect of it. October 9, 2021 5.0 It is a great tool with advanced features that allow to make screenshots in a very fast, easy, and efficient way and even share them on the platforms like Jira. It also has some interesting features like the sequence number tool, blur, etc that make it stands out. Pros Obfuscating tool, the sequence tool (if that is the right name for the tool - every time you click, it leaves a numerical sequence, indicating steps), and the share plugins definitely come in advantage over its competitors. I also like the option to open an already existing file. With many other similar tools, you need to open the image and make a screenshot of it, if you want to annotate it. Greenshot allows you to use an already existing screenshot. On top of everything, it is portable and free. Cons It is kind of outdated based on the UI (definitely not the features it provides though). I use this little application a dozen times a day to communicate efficiently via screen shots. Also, when annotating the screenshot the highlighter tools and shape tools make it look professional and clean. Unlike Windows Snip where the mouse leaves you looking like a 5-yr old drew on the directions. Pros The obscure tool allows me to quickly and easily show my tech support team what's going on, without the hassle of encrypted mail, because I can obscure all PHI in moments.
