Overall, my experience with Caretime has been a positive experience. It is a cost-efficient option, but with that being said, you will absolutely get what you pay for.

Pros

What I like most about Caretime is the help function. It can help you answer just about any issue you are having. And if you can't find the answer, the customer service team is very helpful. I also like that it's a basic platform for a company who is starting out.

Cons

What I like least about Caretime is the overall functionality. The wording of some stuff just doesn't make sense. I find calling a client the "job" very confusing. When you are working on billing, it doesn't signal errors or anything. It would be more helpful to signify a mistake that is made or a box that needs to be filled in. And if a box doesn't need to be filled in, or even used for billing, don't include it at all. It makes it very confusing.

The occasional glitches mainly with the mobile app. The web version always worked the best.

Overall the experience has been positive, and Caretime has functioned as we needed. It is effective in providing what we had utilized it to do.

Pros

The ability to sort by jobs and employee to track hours and used PTO time. It is flexible.

Cons

Sometimes the system was not functional for staff to clock in/out. Or it would not pull reports. The mobile app never seemed to work very well.

The customer service is excellent very patient and also willing to help you through any trouble as you may have I appreciate that

Cons

I don’t like that the software won’t allow you to always clock in when you’re not at location example picking up client from appointment do you have to be at the address and I have a set up for the option to be able to do that but would not allow me or worker

The overall experience has been very good! Caretime has been a key component in the success of our company!

Pros

Caretime is very user friendly for Caregivers to clock in and out as well as documentation of visits to clients. It is easy to submit shifts for billing and payroll. The edit features are very easy to navigate if a mistake is made by a Caregiver. Customer Service is top notch!

Cons

Caretime does not have a user-friendly communication tool. The initial Orientation of Caretime was confusing. There were a lot of bugs to fix in the beginning.

Caretime appears to operate with minimal staffing while being responsible for assisting thousands of customers. As a result, customer service is almost non-existent. Any attempt to resolve an issue is met with excessively long wait times, delayed responses, or no response at all. This is not only frustrating but entirely unacceptable for a company of your size and responsibility. When contact is finally made, the experience only worsens. The individual responsible for handling billing matters has consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior, a lack of basic customer service skills, and an apparent absence of respect for customers. Their tone, demeanor, and inability to communicate effectively reflect poorly on your organization and raise serious concerns about training, accountability, and leadership. Customers should not feel dismissed, disrespected, or burdensome when seeking assistance—especially regarding billing issues, which require accuracy, professionalism, and clear communication. The lack of character, courtesy, and competence displayed is unacceptable and damaging. This ongoing pattern of inadequate staffing, excessive delays, and unprofessional conduct has created a hostile and frustrating customer experience. It is unreasonable to expect customers to tolerate such treatment, and it is imperative that Caretime address these issues immediately.

Pros

Absolutely Nothing! I have not one good thing to say about this company. I went to a state meeting and when we discussed EVV vendors Caretime was bought up multiple times by different agencies and none had anything positive to say!

Cons

The unacceptable level of customer service provided by this company. The support system currently in place is grossly insufficient and reflects a complete disregard for the customers you serve.

Doesn't end well. They signed me up for 3 years without any chances of being ablevto cancel. Which means I continued to pay them even while not using them. However id rather pay additional for a service that actually works.

Nice company as first. They were so helpful and would stay on the phone with you until the problem was fixed. Then our representatives was replaced with the worst.

Cons

Customer support was the worst once Megan left. They always send you to wait for someone else who doest solve the problem. Will never do business with them again!

Our agency has used CareTime for over a year, and unfortunately, it has caused more frustration than efficiency. The software itself is often glitchy and unreliable, which forces our office staff to spend excessive time troubleshooting instead of focusing on their actual work. Customer support is another major issue — the phone number provided keeps you on hold for more than 10 minutes before disconnecting, and even our caregivers struggle to get through when they need help. For a platform that’s supposed to simplify operations, it ends up creating more work for everyone involved.

Pros

It was affordable at $175/month for the first 9 clients and an additional $ if more than 9 clients..
