Momence has made class registration easier for our clients. There are less questions for me to handle and manage as an owner. Other elements that have made our business better: website integration, SMS, simple ways to customize the program, clean reports, easy ways to market your classes, and overall it was easy for us to learn and implement.

Pros

Momence offers everything we need in a simple and fluid format. It is easy for our staff to use as well as our clients. I save many hours each week on administrative tasks.

Cons

I haven't really found an issue with the software. My only wish is that I had more training time on the software. I'm a hands on learner, so I need a bit more time understanding how Momence works for my specific set up.

Reason for choosing Momence

I hadn't really looked at other products. I stumbled on Momence while registering for a class at a friend's studio. He uses Momence. I immediately fell in love with how easy it was to sign up for class. The software sold itself.

### "Fourth time's the charm?"

Pros

Momence is the 4th scheduling fitness/wellness platform I've tried in 5 years and so far it's been great. The ability for teachers to request subs in AMAZING as well as adjusting renewal price for a limited amount of time. Reporting is pretty robust and very easy to create custom filters. Overall the support team has been responsive and I've seen some of the changes I've requested actually happen.

Cons

Long-term cost is high as there's an additional 1% added to the regular Stripe fee (you can have clients absorb it) but having the ACH option is huge. Would love more features to split up Customers into groups for events, messaging, etc.

Reason for choosing Momence

Price is much lower than marianna tek. PushPress didn't have enough features.

Love it!

Pros

Ease of use, Customer support, make-sense approach, creativity, can-do attitude.

Cons

Wish we had Add-On Buttons on the APP, that users could buy a class for someone else on App, that credit card fees could be transferred to guests when using Stripe card reader.

### "Adaptable to studio needs"

In the beginning a lot of our packages and memberships were inputted wrong which was a big headache and stress for me and handeling with clients. Since then has been fixed and everyone is so nice and helpful at problem solving.

Pros

It's great that it's a new company willing to grow WITH your needs. They were able to adjust things to suit our needs and the clients, by how they book to our different studio spaces. Our clients found the software easier to use then MINDBODY it was a short transition to get use to the new system.

Cons

I think there's room for improvement looking ahead to which classes in the future to edit or cancel for holidays. Someties our clients book ahead before I've had time to adjust.

help is available but can be passive agresive, especially when you are just learning their system. Help to a degree then they just send you to a video that doesn't always answer your specific question.

Pros

their chat support, but they do not have screen share option. So when you have an issue you can't just show them in a screen share. Video database, and zoom integration although this is a huge part of my dislike because it is glitching.

Cons

cannot setup a class multiple days a week. If you offer the same type of class two or more days a week instead of being able to select M, W, F you have to set that class up three time's instead of once. Setting up a class takes forever! With so many options, that should just be a template... which they are finally coming out with. Duplicating recurring classes i ran into glitch's, we haven't even fully launched.

Customer service was bar to none. You speak to real people over video chat, and they’re super helpful and caring. By far the best experience I’ve had and I’ve used multiple high end scheduling softwares.

Pros

Ease of use, low cost, and customer support was the best I’ve ever experienced.

Cons

Currently Momence is still developing with updates happening everyday which can be a bad thing to some, but I see it as growth.

We have had such an amazing experience with momence. \[sensitive content hidden\] was so helpful when we were picking momence to use for our go forward booking platform and now \[sensitive content hidden\] has been beyond knowledgeable and helpful in the onboarding process.

Pros

The employees at Momence are top notch. From the experience from the sales process with \[sensitive content hidden\] to the onboarding process with \[sensitive content hidden\] has truly been exceptional. This platform and this team is a 10/10!

Cons

Not HIPPA complaint. We are integrating 3 companies into one and the onboarders are busy with other appts so sometimes we could use a longer onboarding meeting, but thats forcing me to make a complaint. i really dont have any - they have been AWESOME!

### "Be careful when using Momence"

Pros

Momence is a great tool for running your yoga studio or fitness facility. The interface is easy to use and it was easy for clients to book their classes.

Cons

Be very careful about the content you are uploading to Momence. When I signed up for their video on demand service, they never communicated to me that I could not redownload my content. Due to limited space, I deleted my original recordings (mostly classes recorded from Zoom). When I left Momence, I wanted to take that content back. They told me it “wasn’t possible”. I’ve never put content on a platform that didn’t allow me to download that piece of content. They snidely told me they “weren’t a cloud service”. I feel like they stole my intellectual property. Be careful if you’re using their on-demand to save EVERYTHING.

I know this platform has already increased my revenue. It is so easy for people to sign up for courses, classes and videos. When I was on MBO, errors were very common and having to sign in first was probably a deterrent for some.

Pros

I am so happy I switched to Momence. I was most afraid of the integration process but it went very smoothly. My customers are happy with the ease of use, as am I! It has been a very seamless transition and I have felt supported through the whole process. I love the marketing features and I regained a few students when we launched. I also love that I can add videos. I sold a workshop video yesterday so I love the added revenue stream! I’m looking forward to maximizing the platform more and more.

Cons

The only thing that has been mildly annoying is when I’m scrolling through my classes and I’m looking at, for example, page 4, when I’m done looking at a class, it returns to page 1 instead of page 4. It’s not a big deal but it adds extra clicks.

Pros

I also love the ability to see all class in multiple layouts, the calendar layout is great for planning classes ahead of time and seeing where classes can be added as a whole. Then the daily view is excellent for our teachers to use when checking in clients to class.

Cons

The customer reports are hard to follow. I wish there was an easier way to see all of the late cancellations and a way to charge them from said list instead of exporting the information and then manually charging each account. If this could be an automated feature/ an easier process this would be incredible.

Cons

learning curves with getting it set up - having to learn how to use it when it's not my expertise. it would be awesome if in the future there could be people on the Momence team or even a 3rd party team that can learn individual companies needs to help set up/check more of the complex parts.

We struggled with our past software on both a staff facing level and when clients tried to use the program online. Everything was clunky and confusing. Momence has been a breath of fresh air and taken so much of the work out of managing our busy class and appointment schedules.

Pros

Momence is so easy to use for both our staff and our clients. Training has been a breeze.

Cons

We are missing some features we had with our old program, like customizing user access, but overall it's been great.

Integration within my business was easy. The transition process was very smooth and handled very professionally by the team at Momence. The features within the software are fantastic, it is web-optimised. My clients have had no trouble transferring over to this new system and was a seamless experience for them.

I’ve had a great experience with the company. They are rapidly growing, and sometimes clearly experience those growing pains, but overall I’m impressed with every person I’ve had the pleasure to have worked with, and they deliver a quality product.

Pros

I am most impressed with the customer service and constant development and improvement of the momence software.

The multiple steps that it takes to check out an appointment that hasn’t been booked by a client.

Its been great and couldn't have asked for more.

Pros

The support that was given through the change over from one booking software to this one. They have a quick response team that made my feel super supported through the transition and afterwards. I also love how i can have an unlimited amount of video content on here and the app is a great feature.

Cons

Customers would love it if they could click onto multiple classes and then go through to payment rather than clicking to book and then pay for each individual class.

The Momence onboarding process was supported very well! I was able to schedule as many one on one calls with the same representative which made it a streamlined and personal experience! The ability to make changes to our class schedule with one click saves so much time. Also the ability to pass on the credit card surcharges to the client saves us a lot of money.

Ease of use on both the front end and back end. Also the personal customer service!

Pros

easy for students to use. Lots of automations to make targeting emails and retention more hands off.

Cons

that the app, web browser, and my website are all seperate. I wish there was a way for the app to have the refer a friend link and other "student dashboard" qualities. The kiosk is also slightly annoying. I wish the writing was bigger and the button that toggles on and off worked more often. lots of my studnets have to hit it multiple times for it to work.

The transition from our old platform to moments was great. The staff at moments help to guide us through the process of migrating all of our data over to moments. We had a number of onboarding calls that helped us get trained in the software. Very professional company.

They booked the demo, then cancelled it and took the monthly subscription before I was even able to start using the software.

Pros

It was supposed to be cheaper then mindbody.

Cons

Bad customer service. How can I even make up my kind if I’m charged for the software before I even get to learn how to use it?
