July 14, 2025 5.0 The team was not doing live testing enough because it was a pain to setup new emails, or clean system data and then reuse emails. Setting up Mailinator has increased our testing of edge cases and sign up flows by just making the process easier. It has also improved our data because now that people have stopped using random email addresses we can just filter all of our mailinator accounts from live data. We are only starting to scratch the surface of the API and webhook functionality but the team seems pretty excited to sink their teeth in. Pros Easy to get started. Works flawlessly. Lots of useful features (API, webhooks etc.) as you dig deeper. Cons I am just a manager but i have heard nothing negative from my team yet. They have been using individual accounts for a while, but we just went pro so we can use the advanced features. Review Source RS Rohan S. And makes us create profiles easily, which removes a whole bulk of step from tester's work flow. Pros Flexibility to create email addresses for testing purposes. This makes it easy for us to have lots of profile without the hassle of going through the process of creating email addresses. Cons For our use case, it works work for us. And with MFA support, you can have end to end testing with hardened login services (e.g. Azure SSO) Pros Very easy to setup and use. We managed all our test users identities with Mailinator, was very easy to get a few test account setups. Cons Filtering of incoming emails is not great, becomes overwhelming to find something. Any time we have had questions or concerns they have had a quick and reliable reply! Appreciate you all! Pros Very convenient to have with how many test cases are being used. Love the ability to synch with API calls and load emails or messages through our automation. As well as send links to various team members to provide results. Cons The inability to scroll through pages quickly, have to go one by one through the next button which requires a wait for the current page to load.
