Having my own unique mailinator email address and inbox allows me to store all of my project testing in one location, where I can always refer back to any old instance at any time. Pros It's simple and easy. No setup required. Cons The navigation and UI could be better. It is small things like not being able to highlight and copy the email address you are given on the screen. While testing with different user personas, i dont have to switch between different mailboxes thus saving me time & energy for maintaining username/credentials for each mail account. Regarding SMS; there is a public SMS number, but it gets shutdown pretty frequently because, well, the internet. SMS numbers are procured on a customer by customer basis because they don't have a standardized set of rules they adhere to. Sometimes messages get broken into pieces, some customers need numbers that are local to the country that they are in, etc. We'd love to set you up with a subscription that includes SMS, as it seems you have the need and the right sort of use case. We use it mainly for automated testing of email distribution. The fact that any email is accepted, plus the availability of an API to retrieve your emails is exactly what we needed. Onboarding was extremely easy and we were up and running in no time. Despite the drawbacks already mentioned, we're happy with Mailinator. Pros Super easy to setup. Once your account is setup, you're good to go. Mostly work as advertised. Cons 1\. For the price, I feel the daily usage quota is too conservative. And it
