The customer service is friendly and provides you with tools that will allow you to report an issue clearly so they can better help get it resolved. They will take the time to walk you through the software, even after the onboarding session. The owner actually got to know who we were and what our goals were and with that information, he suggested what features we should take advantage of in order to help those goals. I have worked with several other software companies that provide the same type of software, but none of them have come close to the type of software and the customer service behind it, that Spark does. Pros It is hard to pick out one single thing that I like 'most' about the software. If I have to pick one thing out, it is the fact that it is constantly evolving based on two factors, industry trends, and customer necessities. Spark software is always listening to what its customers need in order to keep them working forward. Unlike most software companies of the same type of product, which only quarterly or semi-annual upgrades, Spark makes new feature releases as soon as they are ready to make sure their customers get the needed tools for their success. Cons The only thing is the initial start-up on the software. Because there are so many things it can do, it starts off a bit difficult to navigate to get to the things you want. This is why I HIGHLY recommend you take full advantage of their onboarding program. It's free and it will allow you to better know the software. Owner Health, Wellness and Fitness Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Spark is powerful but easy to use" August 24, 2021 5.0 Spark helps keep us focused more on our classes and curriculum and less focused on collecting billing, missed payments, and constant repetitive communications. At the same time it allowed us to offer a better user experience when purchasing our products and services via Spark's checkout pages. Pros The automation features and flexibility is great. We have automation for leads but the true power is having them for different ranks. When a student is close to needed gear or weapons at a specific rank, we have Spark sent them an email introducing what they will need and a link to a checkout page to order it. Once this was set up, we stopped thinking about it. Cons I'd wished the POS system and Checkout Pages were linked somehow. This is a minor issue and we have easily worked around it. Switched from [Kicksite](https://www.capterra.com/p/131168/Kicksite/) I found Kicksite limiting and as a company more focused on being a 'simple' software package. That's great for schools that never had software before but I wanted to do more, specifically with automating repetitive communication we did every belt cycle. Pros What they promised to do if I signed up, but they didn't do meet those promises, I'm not looking at a lot of work to switch all of my information over to another program. Cons Poor quality. They charge a high fee and promised quality and everything that they do and that turned out just not to be true. Pros It's very straightforward and easy to use. It has multiple features that are key to managing a martial arts school. Had nothing new been added over the last several years I would still be happy with the product, however they have added and continue to add new features faster than I can implement them, and the price hasn't increased. Pros The best thing about this software is the people who develop and run it. If I had to pick a single area that spark has excelled for me it is keeping the small things from slipping through the cracks while spending less time than I used to. Cons It took me a while to figure out how to best use some of the features. Reason for choosing Spark Membership It was a hard choice but spark seemed the better value and more importantly when I did the demo and talked with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] he came across as sincere and honest. Executive Director Sports Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Outstanding product and Customer Service that beats all competitors" June 29, 2021 5.0 The customer service is fantastic! The team responds in minutes during business hours. When questions come up that need changes or assistance the team works to resolve in usually hours, and for more complicated requests several days. The support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] with the various calls walking me through the set up process made setting up the account possible. I am able to track my business in one location, and also appreciate that new features and services are constantly being added. Pros The software is pretty comprehensive and makes it easy to manage all aspects of my business. I like the ease of pulling reports, and immediate notification for new memberships, as well as the user friendly interface on the dashboard. In addition, the self help videos help address any questions immediately so there is no down time waiting on someone to help. Cons As a non-traditional user. We are not a school, but are a membership organization, there are several features that we need that we have had to do "work arounds" for. Most have been addressed but there are a few opportunities left. Reason for choosing Spark Membership Chose SPARK Membership because it offered the ability to have multiple memberships (with different end dates) for members, it has a comprehensive CRM program to manage income, members, etc. Review Source TH Tom H. I don't need to be a tech guru to figure it out! Pros They helped me save time and money.I never used credit cards before for business.I started making money right away. Cons The Phone app is the only thing that seems to have some isssues. Reason for choosing Spark Membership I could tell the owners truly cared about me as a business owner.They even offered to help people for free.Giving manuals on instructor training and how to run a better business.
