The manager reports are great which you can run and send out within minutes. Pros The ease of posting invoices and recall feature are time saving. The auto posting makes posting payment very easy. A feature is the bank downloads upload which saves time posting payments and the match feature is great. Bank rec can be done within minutes. I used it as a business owner and now use it as an employee of an accounting firm. My experience with accounts payable and payroll has qualified me to work as a bookkeeper based entirely on my experience using QuickBooks. Pros Ease of access and user friendliness. It is also a good value for the all the options available to the user. Cons Customer Support is difficult at times. August 4, 2025 5.0 Pros What I like most is the option to organize my payments by whom they need to go to and when they are due. Too many payments fall through the cracks because names tend to be similar. Cons It would be useful if there was a top to handle more complex payroll. Extremely happy to have been able to experience QuickBooks Online Accounant. Thanks again. Pros This is a difficult question because the overall product in its entirety is phenomenal. I love it all. For the sake of specifics the ProAdvisor Benefits & ProAdvisor Training sections are the most memorable that I enjoy. The Accountant Tools and its variety of options is incredible as well. As I meantioned early, the product in its entirety overall is extremely phenomenal. Shout out to all of Intuit's members that made it possible. Cons The fraud teams poor judgement and closing of my accounts on multiple occasions causing me the loss of progress and forcing me to restart from ground zero. September 20, 2022 5.0 Overall I have had a good experience with Quickbooks Online Accountant. It has definitely improved over the years in functionality and continues to get better. Pros I like that it is widely used & accepted by many small businesses and that he price is good for myself and my clients. I also like the integrations with the bank feeds and other apps which makes recording transactions a breeze. The step-by-step instructions which can be found with their online support is very useful and shareable with clients when they need to know how to do something in Quickbooks. I like the Accountant Tools features because it helps me to make corrections and changes much easier & quicker. I also really like the newer Books Review page. It helps me to clean up client books and message them with questions directly out of Quickbooks. I like that it is cloud based so there is no longer fear of a clients books getting lost on a damaged computer or network. Also, it allows me to be able to provide accounting services to my clients from home no matter where they are located. Cons There are a few quirks with some of the newer features of the software, but I am sure those will get worked out. I also have not had a great experience with the phone support team. Sometimes they are able to help, but I have been steered wrong by support in the past and ended up figuring out the fix on my own after spending a long time on a call with support. I tried a few other bookkeeping software, but none compare to this workhorse. Pros I love that this software lets you do full-service bookkeeping, from categorizing transactions, to adding additional layers such as classes and locations, reconciling statements, connecting other apps, and fantastic reporting! Cons The customer service is hit and miss, and usually takes a few hours to resolve any problems. Thankfully I don't need to contact them very often. Pros It's ease of use and the customer support is great. Also basic level reporting is good. Cons In the start, it looks great to use but with the passage of the time we came to know that there are many missing. Specially Advance level of reporting system. You can't customize the reporting according to your organizational need. Plus, Inward Gate passes and Outward Gate passes were missing. You can not integrate with sms gateway. Customers & Vendors ledger formats were another big issue because you can't customize them according to your organizational need. They need to Improve inventory section too because unable to track record of daily issuance there. Pros Support is quick and responsive all the time which is it's only saving grace. Cons Relying on a software that is online only means that if there are glitches or errors because of it's network or code executed in a webpage, this critically damages your books. Frequently quickbooks online will say that everything is correct and up to date when in reality there are numerous sync issues and entries duplicated by system glitches, also the fact that it ignores currency conversion means that what you had expected as correct is wrong and ensures you have hundreds of days of investigating to do to track down issues. I also love the ability that it gives me to message each of my clients from within the software. Cons I just wish that there weren't always so many issues with bank feeds breaking. I spend too much time every week trying to fix these issues and often have to manually upload bank feed data.
