Malwarebytes has been building that trust. Pros Malwarebytes is an industry leader in Malware removal and it seems to do what it is supposed to do. That is all you could ask of it. I have used Malwarebytes successfully without issue - that's the best I can say, for any such product. Cons The whole world of antivirus and antimalware software is shrouded in some modern clouds of mystery. No one really knows for sure. One of the best malware and spyware detection elimination software that there is. I ran a scan the first time and it had removed 6 malwares that had my internet browser locked up. It works good. Pros It scans your PC quite quickly for viruses and malware based on an internal, updatable database. Cons I don't like that when you install it it sets the PC to start automatically. Cons It takes what feels like a long time to scan, sometimes as much as 40 minutes. Pros This product is able to find and kill every form of Malware and ransomware that I have come across. I used the dos based killer a few time and it works wonders for the infected machines.
