October 30, 2021 5.0 I think they have a bright future. It's backed by a monster design house agency and a big tech company so they can pump out a great stack of a tool. Pros I like it's a swap based system. There's been a lot of people asking for more design capabilities which is fine but as it is is great. Also, it's fast. It's mobile fast too. And it's quick to whip up something of high-quality. It comes with fast hosting. And basic analytics too. Overall it's a great tool for marketer at any stage. I mean you can easily build it into a WP stack so it's flexible. It'll be great when they come out with full funnel features. Cons It's overall very very simple and easy to use but more documentation would be nice. It's point and click module based and once you get the hang of it it's super fast and simple. It's just getting started.. I typically used Convertri the most and Converdy. Convertri is more like Photoshop where you can drag drop anywhere on the canvas, whereas Pagemaker is module and block based like Converdy. Overall the features are much less than the later but it's a new shop so that's why. It will be nice to see how it expands. It's a great program for creating documents, brochures, and other publications. The program is easy to use and has a wide range of features that make it suitable for a variety of projects. I like the ability to customize the look of documents, as well as the ability to add text, images, and graphics. I also appreciate the ability to export documents to other formats, such as PDF or HTML. Pagemaker is a great program for creating professional-looking documents. Pros I am able to create landing pages much quicker than with my old software. I love that they are Mobile First - It shows that they are progressive thinkers & not stuck in the past. Support is A-1 Cons I wish they made the page editor a bit more customizable. Right now it is very limited. Something that bothers me is that they claim to be mobile-first (which I love) but whoever they show template previews the templates 7 sections are in Desktop view (which makes it very difficult to visualize what they would look like in Mobile view. The templates & section previews should be Mobile first (or even better, the previews should be shown in whatever view I am currently using). Lastly, I am waiting for the URL slugs to be available - this was a huge oversight on the PM team's part, they should have implemented custom URL slugs months ago. Also for responsive design (mobile friendly) it takes longer to get it done right. With Pagemaker I can quickly set up some campaigns for some specific services and publish them. No worries about mobile responsiveness. It simply works out of the box. And lightening fast. Divi is more for informational websites. Pagemaker is geared toward marketing. Pros The pre-made modules make it super easy to start with something that looks like it's been created in React.JS, super clean and modern, and I don't need to mess around with the layout. Then I can edit the modules and save them between my pages. The integration with Klavyio + web-hooks are a bonus that I use. Cons I wish I could customise a little more in each module, and add extra elements not already inside. But I understand they have done it this way to keep the design layout. There are a tremendous amount of options for building landing pages from creating your own to starting with templates. For a solo user like myself, I don't know that I will ever use all the options available, however, I like to know that they are available in case I expand. I also like the availability of educational options (YouTube) as well as a support community. Cons Options are a little overwhelming, especially for a newbie. That means there is a lot of power but it may not get used. I also think more integrations can be added so we don't have to use a third-party software to tie into my email software (ConvertKit). But one thing that caught my eyes so far, they listen and are very supportive to the users. With the templates they have, we can deliver a good quality landing page to most of the clients in no time! Pros The templates are great. Good-looking design with mobile-first design orientation. It has code editor. Something that I look for when using a page builder. E-commerce integration (Amazon). The site speed and the support. Cons The templates can't be highly customized. There are minor glitches if you want to hide some elements or use custom code. But as long you use straight from the template without advanced editing, everything will be running well. No clear module hierarchy on the panel. Can't design from scratch. Looking forward to apply it some other use case. Pros Pagemaker is the perfect tool I needed to build webview on messenger chatbot since it's insanely fast and mobile friendly. With the help of some integration and especially webhook, it's the perfect ever compliment with messenger bots, being able to display a landing page that tightly connects with my current chatbot platform. Gone the days of building webview by days to now in minutes with its drag and drop interface. Cons I think I need more templates and more modules especially for e-commerce. Also, more features like for personalization using dynamic data from my own Database or api.
