Excellent from the very beginning. Assistance in getting set up was thorough and clear. Questions we have had since have been answered promptly and helpfully.

Pros

The ease with which the homeowners in out Association can pay their dues online, and set up pay plans that best suit their needs. And on top of that, the integration between Zego and Smartwebs makes the entire payment processing process seamless for us.

Cons

Only people who have an account in our Smartwebs systems can pay online - wish we could enable anyone to pay us online, but the need for that is rare.

Overall, Zego is our top choice. It is great for implementation across our company and everyone from our accounting team to property managers to asset managers and owners are very satisfied.

Pros

Zego is fantastic for our property management team. The learning curve has been fairly easy with our onsite community managers. When tenants have questions about billing and invoicing, it is simple for our managers to review with the tenant so payment processing can occur quickly. This helps all round and provides true value for money spent. The security measures are spot on in today's crazy tech. Overall, for tenant management it is a great program.

Cons

There is not one single thing to mention about not liking within the Zego suite. It is all around the top choice for our company. Highly recommend!

Been using Zego/Paylease for 12 years. Only a few glitches along the way, primarily with check scanner. I like it so much better than Stripe. It keeps trac of our residents, by using their ID number.

Pros

Easy to use. Provides a great history of payments. Keeps track of residents with the ID from our leasing system.

Cons

I do not have any negatives. Only issues we have had in my 12 years is with interfacing check scanners and those issues were not rally on Zego's end.

Been using Zego on the property management side for a while now and overall its been a good experience. It makes collecting and tracking payments a lot easier and everything is pretty straightforward once you get familiar with it. .

Pros

Easy to manage payments, everything is organized in one place, and it helps save time with rent collection.

Cons

No significant downsides to note, the system has been reliable and easy to use and doing what we need it to do.

Overall, Zego has been a great tool to use. I really appreciate the convenience it provides—especially not having to drive to the bank every day to make deposits. The platform is also very user-friendly, which makes day-to-day operations much smoother.

Pros

I like Zego because it eliminates the need for me to drive to the bank to make deposits. The payment process is straightforward and easy to scan, which saves a significant amount of time during my day. Overall, it has made managing payments much more efficient.

Cons

One challenge I’ve experienced is the delay between scanned payments and their posting in MRI. At times, there can be up to a two-day delay, which can create confusion for both staff and residents regarding account balances and payment status.

The communication is top notch. I can always reach support. They offer a great portal and I really appreciate how easy it has been to work with Zego.

Pros

The portal is easy to operate. The system is seamless with Rent Manager as our property management system.

Cons

The contract set up process was very involved and lengthy. I understand this is for safety however, for a business with a complex structure it made it challenging to get everything processed.

Pros

Zego integrates seamlessly with Rent Manager, which has made day to day operations much more efficient for our team. Payments post reliably, reporting is clear, and the system works exactly as advertised. It’s very user friendly for both staff and residents, which reduces confusion and cuts down on support requests. Another standout is the flexibility in payment options. Residents can pay online, set up recurring payments, or use alternative methods, which improves on time payments and overall satisfaction. The platform also helps streamline reconciliation and reduces manual work for accounting. Customer service has been consistently helpful and knowledgeable. When questions come up, their team is responsive and able to provide clear answers quickly, which is important in a fast paced property management environment.

Cons

While the platform is strong overall, there can be occasional delays with certain payment types processing or reflecting in real time, depending on the method used. Some fees associated with specific payment options may also be a drawback for residents. I would say that using it with Rent Manager Express (online version) is the best way to maximize your Zego efforts.

Pros

About half of our residents use Zego to make rent payments (with the others writing checks--remember those?) through Rent Manager, our rental management system. The integration is absolutely seamless, and I don't need to log into any additional applications to ensure that we are getting paid.

Cons

For a while, we had an issue with returned payments, but that has been resolved satisfactorily by their support team.

Zego has made our day to day processes so much easier to manage. Also, the tenants really like the ease of it.

Pros

The best is how easy it is for the tenant to use. Very user friendly and customer service is always quick and helpful.

Cons

The least thing I like is the time we spent without it! Really, there's nothing I can think of that we don't like.
