December 10, 2025 5.0 It has been great - affordable, easy to use and integrates with our management software. The customer service reps are helpful and friendly. Great experience overall! Pros We appreciate that ZEGO is easy to use and great customer service! Never had any issues. It integrates with our Enumerate portal that we use for our owners easily. Cons I'm not sure if there is anything I dislike! If I had to pick one thing I'd say that we do get a lot of calls saying autopay was cancelled - but I tend to think this is user error. Assistance in getting set up was thorough and clear. Questions we have had since have been answered promptly and helpfully. Pros The ease with which the homeowners in out Association can pay their dues online, and set up pay plans that best suit their needs. And on top of that, the integration between Zego and Smartwebs makes the entire payment processing process seamless for us. Cons Only people who have an account in our Smartwebs systems can pay online - wish we could enable anyone to pay us online, but the need for that is rare. I get really annoyed with not being able to talk to someone to get issues resolved. And more irritated when they mess up on what I have requested. It is impossible to actually talk to someone that can help you. They are all message takers. Pros Most of the time they get our RUBS bills correctly. I like that rent payments download into our software. Cons Their help system. You can never call and talk to someone and get an issue resolved. You can submit a help ticket online yourself. And if you call in, the person puts in a help ticket for you. Not helpful. When they get around to helping you, it could be several days. Last time it took 2 weeks and that was after I sent an email to remind them. Also, I try to be as clear as possible in my emails, and often they don't do what I have asked. Then they have to correct what they did and that takes more time. Would be more helpful if we could talk to someone and get the issue resolved like other companies. Allowing our tenants to have easy access and convenience of paying online. Pros I liked most about Zego is the billing and invoice. This made the transition from our previous software much smoother. The payment processing was easier for our tenants to understand. Pros Zego is very user friendly and the autopay and Flexpay options help residents keep current on their rent. Cons Using Plaid was a concern for some residents as it continually checked account balances and would not allow payments to process if Plaid thought there was not enough money in the account. They offer a great portal and I really appreciate how easy it has been to work with Zego. Pros The portal is easy to operate. The system is seamless with Rent Manager as our property management system. Cons The contract set up process was very involved and lengthy. I understand this is for safety however, for a business with a complex structure it made it challenging to get everything processed. It is a valuable expense management tool. A wonderful and easy way for our tenants to pay their rent from anywhere. I have also accessed their customer support and they have always been able to answer my questions in a timely manner. Pros Zego is excellent for tenant management. It is very easy to use for everyone involved. It in an invaluable tool for uploading receipts to manage expenses. I appreciate that Zego is a well rounded, all in one program. Cons It can sometimes be inaccurate. Also tenants have reported that for the last couple of months they haven't received a bill like they always have in the past. It has caused them to have to call or come by the leasing office and have one of us look up their current balance for them. This has caused some dissatisfaction for them. Review Source LM Leslie M. Cons The inherent challenges of an integrated product vs. single stack solution. If something were to operate incorrectly the separation of products can increase the troubleshooting workload. Reason for choosing Zego Price and convenience were top of mind considerations followed closely by back-end user experience.
