I find their team to be interested in customer feedback, concerns and recommendations to help drive innovation and product development. Pros Having been a user and pilot user of many zego products and features over the years one thing has stood out; their value on customer input to help drive product initiatives. Cons The inherent challenges of an integrated product vs. single stack solution. If something were to operate incorrectly the separation of products can increase the troubleshooting workload. Reason for choosing Zego Price and convenience were top of mind considerations followed closely by back-end user experience. Pros I love that we can now offer the ability to pay online to all of our residents. It is easy for them to set up recurring or one time payments. We also use the software to process checks on site which saves the staff from running to the bank. Cons Paylease still has a few quirks to work out. This seems to be with the integration into our Resman software. Occasionally a batch will post into the bank account twice and we need to delete the correct one or is messes with the account total. There are also times when a returned checks processes in their system but doesn't update to the resident account. We then have to manually correct the account. It’s been pretty easy to get most of our bank account set up even if we have a bank account change. It’s easy to send over a file and upload and change bank account information inside the system. We have really enjoyed our experience with this company. Pros We like that the payments hook into our software company and provides great clarity on the tenant record. We are even able to scan and save check copy pics on the tenant record Cons We like most everything. Price could always be a bit more affordable and it would be great to know sooner if something was NSF but it likely won’t be any faster in any area! Pros I like how easy the app makes it for me to post and collect RSVPs for resident events. It's also very easy to communicate with residents through the chat function. This review was collected with the promise of rewards on Zego Champions. Cons There are frequent tech issues and bugs for residents. These happen most often when there is a new update. Pros Has a website that mostly works despite long loading times Cons If you need an adjustment made on a scanned check, good luck. It isn't happening. They will reduce checks but never increase checks to the correct amount. They rely on you to figure out if a check was scanned for a lower amount then stated. If you have a check overstated then they will adjust immediately. Takes months for adjustments to take place so bank recs are consistently rolling Journal entries. Pros We use Paylease so our leasing company can accept credit card payments, we love that our residents have a choice for payment. Cons Paylease does charge the resident and the leasing office to use the product. I wish they would just have one flat fee for both.
